About Floor Lamps & Standing Lamps

Floor lamps, or standing lamps, are tall lights for any home with a dark corner or a sofa that needs reading light. They bring warm light down to where you sit.

No wiring, no drilling. Just plug it in.

Ours come in real alabaster, travertine, marble, carved wood, linen and hand-blown borosilicate glass. A craftsman shapes each stone shade and blows each glass globe by hand, so no two match. Pick one for your living room, bedroom, hall or study.

Which floor lamps suit each room?

Beside the sofa, a floor lamp gives you light to read by. In a dark corner, it fills the space with a warm glow. A pair frames the console in your hall. How do you size and fit floor lamps?

Choosing a standing lamp is mostly about height. Ours stand 130–182 cm. For reading, pick 150–165 cm, so the shade sits near eye level when you sit. Keep it near a plug and out of the walkway. What height floor lamp do I need for reading?
Pick a floor lamp 150–165 cm tall. Keep the bottom of the shade near eye level when you sit. Then light falls on the page, not in your eyes.
Where should I put a standing lamp in the living room?
Beside the sofa, behind an armchair, or in a dark corner. Keep it near a plug and out of the walkway. A standing lamp needs no wiring and no drilling.
Do you make a chrome floor lamp?
Yes, we make two. Both stand on 304 stainless steel in polished chrome, so the stem never rusts. Pick seven opal borosilicate glass spheres at 161 cm, or twelve amber borosilicate glass globes at 157.5 cm.
Do floor lamps come with a bulb?
Lamps with a bulb holder come without a bulb, so fit a 3000K warm-white LED. Our LED floor lamps have a built-in 3000K LED instead. None of our floor lamps is dimmable.
Can you make a custom size or a matched pair of floor lamps?
Yes. Custom sizes, finishes and matched pairs take 15–20 working days from our own factory in India. Importers usually take 60–120 days. We keep spares for 10+ years.
How is a floor lamp delivered and set up?

Is a floor light or standing light the same as a floor lamp?
Yes. Floor light, floor lamp, standing light and standing lamp are four names for one thing: a light that stands on the floor and plugs into a socket. Our floor lights stand on 304 stainless steel that never rusts, and none needs wiring or drilling.
Which floor lamp works as a hall lamp light?
Pick a floor lamp about 150–165 cm tall and stand it beside the sofa or in an empty corner of the hall. One lamp lights a reading chair; two balance a long hall. Use warm 3000K light: fit a 3000K warm-white LED in holder lamps (bulb not included), or choose one with a built-in 3000K LED.
Which floor lamp suits a bedroom?
A slim floor lamp with a reading light or an adjustable head works best beside the bed, because it keeps the bedside table free. Set the light near shoulder height when you sit up in bed, and keep it warm 3000K so the room stays calm at night.
Will a metal floor lamp rust?
No. Every metal floor lamp we make stands on 304-grade stainless steel, stem to base, so it never rusts. The stainless parts carry a lifetime rust warranty on orders from 4 October 2026. On top sits a polished chrome, gold, brass, matte black or matte white finish.
