Overview
A tall stem of natural wood, carved by hand with a chisel until every inch carries a small cut, flaring into a wide base and topped with a tall fabric dome. This carved wood floor lamp stands 170 cm (66.9 in) tall, and its shade is 38 cm (14.9 in) across.
Switch it on and the dome glows soft gold, its brown-trimmed ribs drawing lines down the light. The wood below catches the glow in every chisel mark.
Wood, carved stroke by stroke
Our craftsman starts with a solid length of wood and shapes it by hand. He turns the stem slim at the top and lets it widen into a trumpet-like base, then goes over the whole surface with a chisel. This is wood carving in its simplest form: no machine pattern, just the rhythm of a hand.
That is why no two pieces match. Every carved wooden lamp carries its own marks, its own grain and its own small changes in tone.
The shade is a tall dome of natural fabric, stretched over a frame and edged with brown trim along each rib. It sends light softly down and around, never straight into your eyes.

Size and care
This carved wood floor lamp is 170 cm tall, so the dome sits above your head when you stand beside it. The 38 cm shade lights a whole reading chair. The wide carved base keeps it steady. A switch sits on the cord near the floor.
It is not dimmable and plugs into a 220–240V wall socket. It is made for indoor use. Dust the shade with a soft brush and wipe the wood with a dry cloth. Spare parts, including the shade, stay available for 10+ years.
