Our pooja pieces are carved from real alabaster stone or set on 304-grade stainless steel in a brass finish, never printed resin or plastic. Each glows with a soft, warm 3000K light that feels devotional, never harsh.

Vastu thinking favours warm, natural light. Soft 3000K light through natural materials like alabaster stone or wood, or from a brass-finish fitting, feels calm and devotional. Avoid harsh cool-white light, and keep the fitting clean and working.
What colour light is best for a mandir?
A warm 3000K (soft golden-white) light suits a mandir best. It flatters brass, marble and idols, feels devotional, and keeps the space restful for prayer. Cool white or blue-toned light feels clinical and is best avoided.
Should a pooja room light stay on all the time?
Many families keep a small, low-wattage warm light on continuously as a sign of an ever-present divine presence. A gentle brass or stone wall light, or a small pendant, is ideal — warm, efficient and easy on the eyes.
Are natural materials better for a pooja space?
Many families prefer natural earth materials — stone, wood and clay — because Vastu thinking links them with a grounded, calm space. Our alabaster pieces are real stone, carved by hand, and our brass pieces are a brass finish on 304-grade stainless steel that never rusts. Never plastic or printed resin.

How many lamps for a pooja room are enough?
For a small mandir, one warm light above or two wall lights on the sides is enough. A larger pooja room can take a small pendant plus a pair of wall lights. Keep the light soft, so the idols glow without glare.
Which mandir lights suit a small pooja room?
Small, warm pieces work best: a 28 cm alabaster table lamp on the mandir shelf, a slim alabaster or brass-finish wall light beside it, or one small pendant above. Keep every light at 3000K warm white so idols, brass and marble look rich, not cold.
Which hanging lights for a pooja room or mandir work best?
A small pendant, 18 to 30 cm wide, hung in front of the mandir with its bottom above head height. Alabaster is a lovely choice: the stone glows from inside and never glares at the idol. Our Alabaster Bowl Pendant Light is 18 cm wide with a built-in 3000K LED. The Alabaster Hanging Light is a 30 cm dome; fit a 3000K warm-white bulb (not included) for a calm, golden light.
