About Staircase Wall Lights

Staircase wall lights light each step from the side, for any home with an indoor stair, landing or tall stairwell. A single ceiling light can leave your own shadow on the step ahead. Travertine stays solid, so the light falls on the wall, not through it. Alabaster lets light through, and the stone itself glows. Our craftsman reads the veins in each block before he cuts it, so no two pieces match. One good climb of light, and the stairs start to feel like part of the home.

Which staircase wall lights suit your space?

Up-and-down light suits stairs best, because it washes the wall and keeps glare out of your eyes. The 28 cm travertine cylinder wall light carries two built-in 3000K LEDs. For a longer stretch of wall, the 50 cm linear alabaster wall light glows through the stone. For modern staircase wall lighting, the round LED wall light is a 24 cm stainless steel disc with a warm halo.

How to space staircase wall lights

Fix one light every 2.5 to 3 m along the climb, about 180 cm above the stair line. That is about one for every 6 to 8 steps. Add one more at each landing, so no step is left dark.

No, none of our lights is dimmable. Warm 3000K light is soft enough to keep on through the evening. Holder lights come without a bulb, so fit a 3000K warm-white LED.
