Know your light
This glass jhumar brings the look of suspended water droplets to your ceiling — dozens of individually hand-blown borosilicate glass leaves cascade from a central canopy in an inverted raindrop formation. Each leaf is clear-bodied with a frosted-white swirl rim and a scatter of gold-leaf accent petals through the cluster. Warm integrated LEDs sit inside the formation so every glass leaf glows when lit, sending soft warm shimmer across the ceiling and walls. Available in matte black metal, satin gold metal, or chrome-finish metal hardware. Built at our Greater Noida factory — spare glass elements available for 10+ years.
Where it fits
This glass jhumar works best in high-ceiling spaces where the cascade can breathe — double-height foyers, staircase voids, and hotel lobbies with 12 ft or more overhead clearance. Above a dining table, hang it so the lowest leaf sits 75–90 cm above the surface. For a more structured crystal alternative, see our Crystal Foyer Chandelier – 18-Light Bell Cascade, or the Gold Fluted Glass Chandelier – Sputnik LED Centrepiece for a bolder contemporary shape.
Why you’ll use it every day
Most chandeliers light a room from above. This glass jhumar changes the feeling of the room entirely. When the LEDs come on, light passes through each borosilicate glass leaf and breaks into a soft warm shimmer across the ceiling and walls. No harsh centre spot, no glare, no bulbs to replace — just ambient warmth that makes dinner feel like an event and a bare foyer feel like an arrival.
Light & finish
Integrated warm-white LEDs run at 3000K — a gentle, amber-leaning light temperature suited to dining rooms, drawing rooms, and hotel reception areas. Light diffracts through each individual borosilicate glass leaf, so the overall effect is a diffuse warm glow rather than a direct downlight. Choose matte black metal for a contemporary dining room, satin gold metal for a traditional or Art Deco interior, or chrome-finish metal for a minimalist scheme. This glass jhumar pairs well with marble dining tables, velvet seating, and teak wood furniture.
Vaastu & positive energy
Centring a glass jhumar directly above your dining table or living room seating aligns with Vaastu principles that favour balance and abundance at the heart of a gathering space. Glass is considered a clean, energy-neutral material — it amplifies light without accumulating heaviness. Position it centrally, not offset, for best effect.

Common questions
Where does a glass jhumar look best in an Indian home?
Double-height foyers and staircase voids are the ideal setting — the cascade reads best when the full raindrop formation is visible from below. Above a dining table with a 10–14 ft ceiling, set the drop so the lowest leaf sits 75–90 cm above the table surface. Hotel lobbies and banquet halls work well too — the cluster is dramatic enough to anchor a large entrance on its own.
What ceiling height does this glass jhumar need?
12 ft or more is recommended for the full cascade effect. At 10 ft, shorten the drop at installation so the formation sits comfortably above head height. Staircase and foyer voids with 14–20 ft clearance show this glass jhumar at its most dramatic.
How many lights does this glass jhumar use and what type?
Integrated warm-white LEDs are built into the cluster — no separate bulbs to source or replace. The LED driver sits inside the ceiling canopy and runs on standard 220–240V Indian mains at 3000K warm white. The whole fixture is CE/UL/ZED certified for indoor use.
Can I adjust the drop of this glass jhumar for a lower ceiling?
The Teflon-coated copper wire suspension is adjustable at installation — your electrician sets the drop length to suit your ceiling height. For very tall staircase voids, Jagmag can supply extended cable on request at no extra cost.
Can I get this glass jhumar in a different size or finish?
Jagmag manufactures this glass jhumar at our Greater Noida factory — custom cluster sizes and hardware finishes are available on request, typically 15–20 days lead time. Send us your room dimensions and preferred finish and we’ll confirm the exact spec before production begins.
Does this glass jhumar come with installation support?
Free video call support from Jagmag is included — any qualified electrician completes installation in 60–90 minutes using standard ceiling wiring. Spare borosilicate glass leaf replacements are available for 10+ years. Not sure which drop length suits your ceiling? Message Jagmag — we’ll help you measure in 5 minutes.
