Which light is best for a pooja room as per Vastu?
Vastu favours warm, natural light. Soft 3000K light from natural materials like brass, alabaster stone or wood is considered calming and auspicious. Avoid harsh cool-white light, and keep the fitting clean and working.
What colour light is best for a mandir?
A warm 3000K (soft golden-white) light suits a mandir best. It flatters brass, marble and idols, feels devotional, and keeps the space restful for prayer. Cool white or blue-toned light feels clinical and is best avoided.
Should a pooja room light stay on all the time?
Many families keep a small, low-wattage warm light on continuously as a sign of an ever-present divine presence. A gentle brass or stone wall light, or a small pendant, is ideal — warm, efficient and easy on the eyes.
Are natural materials better for a pooja space?
Natural earth materials — stone, brass, wood and clay — are believed in Vastu to carry grounding, positive energy, which is why they are a popular choice for pooja rooms. Our pieces are carved from real alabaster or finished in solid brass, never plastic or printed resin.
