What is the difference between a wall light, a wall lamp and a sconce?
They are mostly the same thing: a light fixed to your wall. "Wall light" and "wall lamp" are two names for it. A sconce is a wall light that holds its glow on a bracket or behind a shade. Every sconce is a wall light, and our range has both. Many people search for it as a wall lamp light or a lamp light for wall; it is the same fixture.
How high should a wall light be from the floor?
Hang most wall lights about 165–180 cm from the floor, so the glow sits just above eye level. Beside a bed, fit it lower, at eye level when you sit up to read. Up a staircase, keep the same height above each step and space lights 2–2.5 m apart.
Which wall lighting design suits a hall or living room?
For a wall light design for hall or living-room walls, a pair of up-and-down wall lights on either side of the TV wall or sofa suits most Indian homes. They wash the wall with warm 3000K light instead of glaring into your eyes. Fit them about 165–180 cm high and 150–200 cm apart. Want hall lights for a wall with no ceiling point? Can I use a wall lamp in a bathroom?
Yes, if it is rated IP65. Our outdoor wall lights and our alabaster wall lights with a built-in LED are IP65. They can take bathroom steam. Keep them out of the direct splash zone. Our other indoor wall lights are IP20 and belong in dry rooms.

Most halls need two to four. Put a pair on either side of the TV wall or the sofa, and add one more on a long blank wall or beside a mirror. Keep them 1.5–2.5 m apart and about 165–180 cm from the floor, so the glow sits just above eye level.

What warm light for wall lights should I choose?
Choose 3000K warm white. It gives a soft golden glow that makes stone, wood and opal borosilicate glass look their best in the evening. Our built-in LED wall lights are 3000K only. Holder lights come without a bulb, so fit a 3000K warm-white LED in them. None of our lights is dimmable, so pick the size and number of lights for the brightness you want.
