Overview
Switch it on and a stone flower opens on your wall. This tulip wall light is a closed tulip bud carved from natural alabaster, held on a slim stem in a brass finish over a round backplate. Off, the shade is a soft milky white. On, it glows warm and the veins come up through the stone like clouds.
It is 31 cm tall and 13 cm wide. Small enough for a bedside or a narrow hallway, and at its best as a pair.
Why an alabaster tulip glows from inside
Alabaster is stone formed beneath the earth. It is soft enough to carve and thin enough to let light through.
Our craftsman reads each block before he cuts it. Then he carves the bud by hand, petal by petal, and shapes the scalloped rim you see at the top. He leaves the veins alone. Where the stone is thicker it shows darker; where it is thinner it glows brighter. So no two tulips are the same. Order a pair and you get siblings, not twins.
The light softens as it passes through the stone. You see an even glow, not a bright point of light in your eyes.
The stem, arm and round backplate are 304-grade stainless steel in a warm brass finish. That steel carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Where a tulip wall sconce works in your home

Light and fitting
It takes one standard E27 bulb, not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED bulb; that warm light suits the stone best. It gives accent and mood light, not the main light for a room.
It is not dimmable. With a 3000K bulb it gives a fixed warm light.
It is hardwired at 220–240V and rated IP20, for indoor, dry rooms only. Keep it away from showers, wet areas and outdoors. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we guide you on a free video call if you want help.
To clean it, wipe the stone with a soft dry cloth. Avoid water and harsh cleaners.

Vastu tradition prefers soft, warm light where you rest, and asks you to avoid strong light shining down onto the bed. Wall lights beside the bed are the usual answer. A matched pair, one on each side, is linked with balance.
The tradition also asks for lit entrances and passages, with no dark corners. Natural white stone belongs to the earth element and is linked with calm. Is the shade real alabaster?
Yes, it is natural alabaster stone, carved by hand in our factory. The veining and tone vary from piece to piece and show when the light is on.
How big is this tulip wall light?
It is 31 cm (12.2 in) tall and 13 cm (5.1 in) wide. That suits a bedside, a narrow hallway or a pair beside a sofa.
What bulb does it take?
One E27 bulb, not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED bulb; it suits the stone best.
Is it dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Will the metal parts rust?
No, the stem, arm and backplate are 304-grade stainless steel in a brass finish. You get a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. It covers rusting of the steel, not the finish.
