Overview
Switch it on and the wall turns soft and warm. No glare in your eyes. Just a calm pool of light where you need it.
This black wall lamp sets an opal borosilicate glass globe under a flat 25 cm disc. The frame, arm and round backplate are 304-grade stainless steel in a matte black finish. It stands 26 cm tall and sits light on the wall, beside a bed, a mirror or along a hallway.
Opal borosilicate glass and stainless steel: what each part does
Glass begins as sand. Melted, shaped and frosted, it stops being a window and becomes a diffuser. The opal-frosted globe here hides the G9 bulb and spreads its light evenly.
Above it, the thin black disc acts like a small hat. It keeps light off the ceiling and sends it down and across the wall.
The frame is cut, joined and finished matte black in our own Greater Noida factory. It is 304-grade stainless steel, so it will not rust. That comes with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Where this black wall lamp works best
Beside the bed. Mount one on each side of the headboard at 140–150 cm from the floor. You get reading light and no lamp on the side table. Browse more bedroom wall lights.

In a hallway or on a staircase. Fix them at 175–180 cm, one every 2–3 metres, for a steady glow down the corridor or up the stairs. More hallway wall lights.
Beside a bathroom mirror, a dining nook or a café wall. Centre it at eye level, about 165–170 cm, by a mirror. It is IP20, so keep it in a dry spot, away from the shower and basin splash. Our photos also show it over a small dining table and in a row along a restaurant wall.
It is sold one at a time. Buy one, or pair two for a balanced headboard. The matte black sits well on plaster, concrete, wood panels, tiles and painted brick.
Light and fitting
The lamp takes one G9 bulb, up to 40 W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED of 4–6 W; 5 W is plenty for bedside reading. Cool white looks harsh through opal borosilicate glass, so stay warm.
It runs on 220–240V and is rated IP20, for indoor use. The backplate fixes with two wall screws and the wiring goes into the backplate. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we give free video-call support while they do.
All metal parts are 304-grade stainless steel, matte black. Lifetime warranty against rusting, orders from 4 October 2026.

Vastu
Vastu tradition prefers soft, warm light in the bedroom. Warm white or soft yellow is linked with the earth element and a settled mood, especially in a south-west master bedroom. Coloured bulbs are kept out of bedrooms.
It also advises against harsh or bright light right above or close to the bed. A frosted globe under a disc does exactly that job. The bulb is hidden, the glare is gone, and a 3000K warm-white LED keeps the light gentle. For accent light in a living room, Vastu writers favour the north and east walls.

Care
·Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
·Spot-clean with a pH-neutral cleaner on a cloth — never spray directly.
·Wipe the stainless steel gently dry after cleaning. Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals.
·Indoor use only unless an IP rating is specified.
·Switch off the circuit before any electrical maintenance.
·Check mounting hardware periodically and tighten if needed.

What bulb does this black wall lamp take?
It takes one G9 bulb, up to 40 W, and the bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED of 4–6 W for the softest glow through the opal borosilicate glass.
How high should I mount it?
Mount it at 140–150 cm from the floor beside a bed. Use 175–180 cm in a hallway or on a living room wall, and about 165–170 cm, centred at eye level, beside a mirror.
Will the black frame rust?

Is the globe real glass?
Yes. The globe is opal borosilicate glass, not plastic. The frosting hides the bulb and spreads the light evenly, so there is no glare.
Can I use it as the only light in a room?
It works best alongside a ceiling light or as part of layered lighting. A bedside pair gives enough light to read, and in a hallway one lamp every 2–3 metres can be the only light.
