Overview
Some walls need one quiet thing after dark. This up and down wall light gives yours two soft bands of warm light. A slim square column of 304-grade stainless steel, in an antique brass finish, sends light up and down the wall. A row of thin slots near the top glows in clean lines. It is 26.7 cm tall and made for indoor rooms.
What makes this up and down wall light different?
Look at the back. The column sits on a round disc of real walnut wood, 14 cm across. Switch it on and the light slips past the disc’s edge, so the grain glows warm against your wall.
Most wall sconces are a box of plastic and glass. This one is steel and wood, made by hand in our Greater Noida factory.
Steel that carries wood
Walnut is wood that took years to grow its grain. Our craftsman cuts the disc and shapes its soft curved edge. The grain is left exactly as it grew, so no two backplates match.
The column is 304-grade stainless steel in an antique brass finish. It is folded into a square, with each slot cut in a straight, even line. Steel is the frame here, not the hero. It holds the light and lets the wood show.
Switched on, the steel goes quiet and the light takes over. A soft band rises up the wall. Another falls below. The slots draw thin lines of gold in between.
Where it works
Fix a pair on either side of your bed, a mirror or the TV wall for a balanced look. Run a few along a hallway or staircase wall to guide the way in warm light. It also suits living rooms, dining areas, lobbies and reception walls. Want to frame a doorway inside your home? Fix one on each side, and the wall gets two warm bands of light.
It projects just 8.9 cm from the wall, so people walk past without noticing it. Keep about 40 cm clear in front on narrow passages.

Light, fitting and care
It takes one G9 bulb. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white G9 LED for the soft golden glow you see in the photos. It runs on 220–240V mains and mounts with two screws through the round backplate.
This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm light, so pick your bulb for the mood you want.
Every metal part is 304-grade stainless steel, so the column will not rust. You get a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. Spare parts stay available for 10+ years.

FAQ
Can I use this up and down wall light outdoors?
No. It is made for indoor rooms and rated IP20, so it is not sealed against rain or water jets. The steel itself will not rust, but the light fitting needs a dry wall. For outside walls, see our outdoor wall lights.
Which bulb does it take, and is it included?
It takes one G9 bulb, and the bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white G9 LED for the warm glow in our photos.
Is the backplate real wood?
Yes. The round backplate is real walnut wood, shaped by hand. Its grain is natural, so each disc looks a little different.
How is it installed?
Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes: two screws through the round backplate, then connect the mains wire. We give free video-call support if you need it.
