Overview
Turn off the big light at night and the room changes. Two soft globes at the bedside are all you need. This oval wall light gives you that: two opal borosilicate glass balls, set one above the other in a tall reeded wood oval.
It is 41.2 cm tall and only 15.7 cm wide. Choose matt gold or antique bronze. Hang one beside a mirror, or a pair on either side of the bed. Think of it as a double globe wall sconce, framed in real wood.
Real wood, reeded by hand
Wood takes years to grow its grain. We don’t hide it under plastic. The oval frame is real wood, reeded by hand in our Greater Noida factory, ridge after ridge, then finished in matt gold or antique bronze.
The two balls are opal borosilicate glass. It is clear borosilicate glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, with white added while it is made. That is what turns a bare bulb into a soft, even sphere.
Switch it on and each ridge of the oval catches a line of warm light. Two globes, two heights, no glare. Wood and warm light belong together.
Where does an oval wall light work best?
Beside the bed. Hang a pair, one each side of the headboard. You get soft reading light and a clear bedside table.
Beside a mirror or artwork. The tall, slim oval frames a dressing mirror, console or painting and lights it from two heights.
Hallway or entry. It stands just 12.6 cm off the wall, so it clears a passing shoulder and a swinging door.
Living room. A quiet glow beside a sofa, a shelf or a reading chair.
Light and fitting
It takes two G9 bulbs, one in each ball. Bulbs are not included; fit 3000K warm-white G9 LEDs. Max wattage per holder: ask us and we will tell you.
This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light with the recommended bulbs. It runs on 220–240V and is rated IP20, for indoor dry walls only.
The wall plate and fittings are 304-grade stainless steel, finished to match. That steel carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. It is hardwired and hangs vertically. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we give free video-call support.

Vastu tradition asks for soft, warm light in the bedroom, in place of harsh light from above. It suggests bedside lamps or wall lights for reading and winding down, and no bright fixture shining straight over the bed. Warm white or soft yellow light suits rest; cool white is kept for study and kitchen.
This light follows that idea. It sits beside the bed, not over it. Its opal borosilicate glass hides the bulb, and its 3000K glow is warm. Its frame is wood, a natural material Vastu prefers to plastic, and the rounded oval has no sharp corners. In a hallway, Vastu asks that no corner is left dark; a pair of these keeps a passage evenly lit.
