Vanity Wall Light – 3-Globe Black Stainless Steel, Walnut and Opal Glass, 88 cm

Stand at the mirror and switch it on. Three soft globes light your face from the front, evenly, with no shadow under the chin. This vanity wall light lines up three opal borosilicate glass globes along one 88 cm bar of matte black 304-grade stainless steel, each globe hung from a turned walnut wood collar. Each globe sits under a gloss black steel dome with a fine brass-finish lip ring that catches the light inside the rim. The bar stands 26.5 cm tall and sits only 23.5 cm off the wall.

Walnut, opal glass and steel: what each one does

Walnut is wood that took years to grow its grain. Our craftsman turns each collar on the lathe and fits it between the steel arm and the dome, so a little natural wood shows above every globe. In warm light the grain looks alive.

The globes are opal borosilicate glass. That is clear borosilicate glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, with white added while the glass is made. Light does not pass straight through it. It softens into a glow, so you see a lit globe, not a bulb.

The bar, arms and round backplate are 304-grade stainless steel in a matte black finish with a dark bronze tone. The domes are the same steel in gloss black. Steel is the frame here, not the hero. It carries the wood and glass, and it carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

Where a 3-globe vanity wall light works best

Above a bathroom vanity. The 88 cm span covers a 90 to 120 cm mirror. Centre it 10 to 15 cm above the mirror top, which usually puts the globes 180 to 195 cm from the floor. It is an indoor IP20 light, so fit it on a dry wall above the basin, well outside the shower splash zone. See more bathroom wall lights.

Above a bed. Centred over a king or queen bed, the 88 cm bar covers both sides. Mount it 155 to 170 cm from the floor so it clears the headboard. More bedroom wall lights.

Light and fitting

Three E27 holders, up to 60 W each. The light is sold without bulbs: bulb not included; fit a 3000K warm-white LED in each globe. A 4 to 6 W LED per globe gives a warm, even spread across the full bar. You change a bulb yourself; no electrician needed.

It is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light. It runs on 220 to 240 V and fixes through one central round backplate, Ø 12 cm.

To clean it, switch off and let it cool. Wipe the steel and walnut with a soft dry cloth. Wipe the globes with a soft damp cloth and dry them. No harsh cleaners.
