Overview
Some nights you just want to read a few pages without lighting the whole room. This hanging wall light brings the light down to you. A curved gooseneck arm drops 90 cm from the wall to a hand-reeded wood dome, with a soft opal borosilicate glass ball glowing inside it.
The shade is 15.7 cm across and stands 19 cm off the wall. Hang one beside a reading chair, or a pair on either side of the bed. It is a long arm wall light with a quiet vintage barn soul.
Real wood, reeded by hand
Wood takes years to grow its grain. We don’t swap it for plastic. The dome is real wood, reeded by hand in our Greater Noida factory, ridge after ridge, then given a soft matt gold finish.
The ball inside is opal borosilicate glass. It starts as clear glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, with white added while it is made. That is what turns a bare bulb into a calm, even orb.
Switch it on and the glass glows warm. The inside of the dome catches that light and each ridge shows a thin line of gold. No glare, just a pool of warm light where you need it.
Where does a hanging wall light work best?
Beside the bed. The long arm brings the light down to reading height, so your bedside table stays clear. Mount a pair, one each side of the headboard.
Beside a mirror or vanity. The dropped shade throws soft, kind light at face height in a dressing area or powder room, on a dry wall.
Hallway or stairwell. A tall bracket like this fills a long, empty wall with warm light and a bit of character.
Reading nook or living room chair. It puts a warm pool of light over an armchair without taking any floor space.
Light and fitting
It takes one G9 bulb inside the opal ball. The bulb is not included; fit a 3000K warm-white G9 LED and change it whenever you like. Max wattage: ask us and we will tell you.
This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light with the recommended bulb. It runs on 220–240V and is rated IP20, for indoor dry walls only.
The curved arm and the round 11.6 cm wall plate are 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed brass finish. That steel carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. The whole light weighs 2.2 kg, so it is hardwired into a sound wall fixing. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we give free video-call support.

Vastu tradition asks for soft, warm light in the bedroom rather than a harsh light from above. It favours bedside lamps or wall lights for reading and winding down, and no bright fixture shining straight over the bed. Warm white or soft yellow light suits rest; cool white is kept for study and work areas.
This light follows that idea. It hangs beside the bed, not over it. Its opal glass hides the bulb, and its 3000K glow is warm. Its dome is wood, a natural material Vastu prefers to plastic, and every line is round, with no sharp corners. In a hallway or stairwell, Vastu asks that no corner is left dark, and a long drop like this lights a tall wall evenly.

How long is the drop on this hanging wall light?
It is 90 cm (35.4 in) from the wall plate to the bottom of the shade. It projects 19 cm (7.5 in) from the wall, and the shade is 15.7 cm (6.2 in) across.
What bulb does it use, and is it included?
It uses one G9 bulb, which is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white G9 LED for the softest glow through the opal borosilicate glass.
Is it dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Is the shade real wood, and will the arm rust?
Yes, the dome is real wood, reeded by hand and finished in matt gold. The arm and wall plate are 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed brass finish, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?
Only on a dry wall indoors, such as beside a dressing or powder-room mirror. It is rated IP20, so keep it out of shower and splash zones and away from the outdoors.
