Overview
Stand at the mirror in the evening and look at your face. One light from above throws shadows under your eyes. Two soft lights at your side do not. This mirror wall light gives you those two lights in one tall piece. Two reeded wood bowls each hold an opal borosilicate glass ball, joined by a slim stem strung with steel and green stone beads. It is 67.7 cm tall and stands 11.5 cm off the wall.
Switch it on and the two balls glow as warm, even orbs. Switch it off and it still reads like a piece of jewellery for the wall.
What is this double wall light made of?
The bowls are real wood. Wood grows for years before it reaches our bench, and no two pieces come out the same. In our Greater Noida factory, a craftsman ridges each bowl by hand, one ring at a time, then finishes it in matt gold. The ridges catch the glow and throw a quiet halo back onto the wall.
The beads on the stem are natural green stone, formed beneath the earth. They sit between gold-finish beads of 304-grade stainless steel. Cool stone, warm steel, soft glass. Each stone bead carries its own small marks, so your piece is never an exact copy of the next.
The balls are opal borosilicate glass, 10 cm across. Borosilicate is melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, and white is added while the glass is made. Light passes through it soft and even, with no bright spot and no visible bulb.
The two round back plates, the stem and the metal beads are 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed gold finish. They will not rust, and they carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Where does a mirror wall light work best?
- Beside a mirror. Mount it 5–10 cm from the mirror edge, centred on the mirror height, with the bowls near eye level. Light from two heights is kinder to your face.
- In a powder room or dressing area. It warms a vanity wall like a small hotel. Fit it on a dry wall, outside any shower or splash zone.
- In an entry or hallway. A tall, slim piece fills a narrow stretch of wall, with no table or floor space needed.
- Beside the bed. Hang one on each side of the headboard. Two orbs on each side give gentle reading light and calm symmetry.
It looks best as a matched pair, flanking a mirror, bed or console. It sits well on warm plaster, limewash, timber, marble and arched niches, in mid-century, modern and quietly rich rooms. Skip cool-white or blue-toned schemes, where the warm gold fights the room.
Light and fitting
It takes two G9 bulbs, one in each bowl. Bulbs are not included; fit 3000K warm-white G9 LEDs. The opal glass hides each bulb completely, so the light is glare-free at the mirror.
This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light with the recommended bulbs. It runs on 220–240V and is rated IP20, for indoor dry walls only.
It is hardwired to the wall on two back plates and hangs vertically. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we give free video-call support if you need it.

Vastu
Vastu tradition places mirrors on the north or east wall. It asks for the mirror to sit in good light, but not with a lamp shining straight into it. A light beside the mirror, not opposite it, follows that idea. So does warm white or soft yellow light in place of harsh, bright light.
In the bedroom, Vastu asks that a dressing mirror should not reflect the bed, and that bedroom light stays soft and warm. At the entrance, it asks for the path to the main door to be well lit, with no fixture aimed straight at the door. It also prefers natural materials, like wood and stone, over plastic. This light is real wood and natural stone on a steel frame.
Vastu is a tradition of arranging a home so it feels right. We follow it as a guide to calm, warm rooms, nothing more.
