Overview
Switch it on and your wall fills with soft gold lines. This ribbed glass wall light sets clear borosilicate glass rods in a brushed gold half-cylinder, 45 cm tall. Two E14 lamps sit inside the arc. Their light runs through every rod and spills up and down the wall.
It has a vintage outline and a clean, modern finish. Hang one as a quiet accent, or a pair either side of a mirror or a bed.
Clear borosilicate glass, set rod by rod
Glass begins as earth. Borosilicate glass is melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. That is why it stays crystal-clear and pure.
A craftsman in our Greater Noida factory sets the rods side by side in a curve, then locks them between two steel caps. Each cap carries a row of small triangles that catch the glow at the top and bottom.
Ribbed glass does something plain glass can’t. Each rod bends the light a little, so the glow breaks into warm, upright bands on your wall. Nothing is frosted or hidden. The light passes through clean.
Where a ribbed glass wall light works best
Living room. Beside a sofa or a piece of art, it adds a warm layer that a ceiling light can’t give. See more living room wall lights.
Bedroom. Mount a pair either side of the headboard. Two of them give enough light to read by at night. More ideas in bedroom wall lights.
Hallway and entryway. Our photos show a pair flanking a round mirror above a console, the first thing a guest sees. In a corridor, the rods spread light along the wall. Browse hallway wall lights and staircase wall lights, or read our hallway lighting guide.
It works best as layered light alongside a ceiling fitting. On the wall, it takes no table, floor or shelf space. See all indoor wall lights or our full range of wall lights.
Light, fitting and the steel that holds it
The frame, caps, backplate and mounting bracket are 304-grade stainless steel with a brushed gold finish. It catches the room’s light even when the sconce is off. The steel will not rust. You get a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
It takes two E14 bulbs, up to 40 W each. Bulbs are not included. Fit two 3000K warm-white LEDs of 5–7 W for the warmest glow through the glass. It runs on 220–240 V.
It is not dimmable, so the warm 3000K light stays steady. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we give free video-call support while they do.

Vastu
Vastu tradition asks for warm, soft light where you rest, and no harsh light straight over the bed. A pair of wall lights beside the bed, fitted with 3000K warm-white bulbs, follows that idea. In the bedroom, the south and west walls suit gentle light like this.
The same tradition asks that entrances and hallways stay well lit, with no dark corners and no flicker. Mirrors help spread the light. This sconce, either side of a mirror near your door, does both. Clear glass keeps the light honest, and steel is seen as a grounding metal.
Vastu is a tradition of arranging a home so it feels right. We don’t promise luck. We make light that helps a room feel calm.
Care
·Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
·Spot-clean with a pH-neutral cleaner on a cloth — never spray directly.
·Wipe the stainless steel gently dry after cleaning. Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals.
·Indoor use only unless an IP rating is specified.
·Switch off the circuit before any electrical maintenance.
·Check mounting hardware periodically and tighten if needed.
