Fluted Glass Wall Light – Clear Ribbed Glass, Brushed Gold Sconce, 34.5 cm

Switch it on and the wall comes alive. Fine lines of warm light run up the paint, like light through rain on a window. This glass wall sconce is a clear fluted borosilicate glass shade on a slim brushed gold arm. It stands 34.5 cm tall, takes one E27 bulb, and is made in our own Greater Noida factory.

A glass wall sconce that draws with light

The shade is a soft barrel, 15 cm wide and 20 cm tall. Deep vertical ribs run all the way round it.

Those ribs are the standout detail. They split one bulb into dozens of thin bands of light. By day the glass reads like a piece of decor. At night it paints the wall.

A slim rod rises from a round 10 cm backplate, curves over the top, and drops to hold the shade from a gold cap. The whole light sits 24.5 cm off the wall.

Borosilicate glass, ribbed and crystal-clear

Glass begins as earth. Ours is borosilicate glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina.

We use it because it stays crystal-clear and pure. The flutes are formed in the glass itself, not printed or sleeved on. Each shade is fitted to its arm by hand in Greater Noida.

Switch it on and light passes clean through the clear glass. The ribs bend it into soft vertical lines on your wall and ceiling.

Where it works in your home

Hallway. One at eye level lifts a dark corridor corner. The 10 cm backplate fits narrow walls beside doors and windows, where a table lamp never could. More hallway wall lights.

It also suits a dry powder-room mirror, away from water. It sits well with rattan, warm wood and earthy tones, and takes no floor or table space at all. In most rooms, use it as layered light beside a ceiling light.

Light and fitting: what you get

Every metal part — backplate, arm and shade cap — is 304-grade stainless steel with a brushed gold finish. It will not rust. We back that with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

It takes one E27 bulb up to 40 W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED of 5–7 W for a warm glow that keeps the gold looking warm.

This light is not dimmable. It runs on 220–240 V and is rated IP20, for indoor use. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we help on a free video call.
