Glass Wall Lamp – Adjustable Ribbed Bell Sconce, Clear or Amber, 14.5 cm

Some evenings you want light on just one thing. Your book. A painting. The bowl where the keys land.

This glass wall lamp does exactly that. Its ribbed bell tilts on a knurled pivot, so you aim warm light where you need it and leave the rest of the room calm.

A ribbed glass bell you can aim

The shade is a 14.5 cm bell of ribbed borosilicate glass. Fine rings run around it, crossed by finer lines, so the surface reads like a woven texture.

It comes in two pairings. Matte black with clear borosilicate glass. Or gold with amber borosilicate glass.

Two knurled gold knobs hold the angle. Loosen, tilt the head up or down, tighten. Done.

Glass that starts as sand

Borosilicate glass begins in the earth. Silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina are melted together until they run crystal-clear.

The ribs are formed into the bell while the glass is hot and soft. For the amber shade, the colour goes in while the glass is made. It is not painted on later.

Switch it on and the ribs break the bulb into fine, warm bands. The clear shade sparkles. The amber shade glows like honey on the wall.

Where this glass wall lamp works best

• Bedside reading. Mount it about 120 cm from the floor and tilt the head toward your pillow. The ribbed glass softens the beam, so you light a page without waking your partner.
• Hallway or entry. A pair either side of a mirror or console, at 150–160 cm, looks balanced and frees the table from a lamp.
• Dining corner. Turned toward a sideboard or a painting, it warms the corner without fighting the pendant over the table.
• Living room. Aim it at a canvas, a shelf or the mantel. The eye goes where the light goes.

Because it sits on the wall, your bedside table stays clear. No lamp base. No cord across the top.

Light and fitting

The backplate, arm and holder are 304-grade stainless steel. Choose a matte black finish with gold-finish holder and knobs, or a gold finish all over.

That steel will not rust. You get a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

It takes one E27 bulb. The bulb is not included; fit a 3000K warm-white LED. Ribbed glass is made for warm light, so skip cool-white bulbs above 4000K.

The light is not dimmable. It is rated IP20, for indoor use, at 220–240 V.

The round backplate is 10 cm across and sits 2.5 cm off the wall. The lamp projects 25.5 cm, so leave about 26 cm of clear space for the head to pivot. Overall it is 22 cm wide and 23 cm tall.
