Fluted Glass Wall Light – Twin Wood & Copper Sconce, 59 cm

Walk down your hallway at night and the wall glows twice: once up, once down. That is this fluted glass wall light. Two clear fluted cylinders sit above and below a band of natural wood, so one fitting washes light both ways along your wall.

It stands 59.2 cm tall and sits just 14.3 cm off the wall. Tall enough to be noticed. Slim enough for a narrow passage or the space beside a bed.

Borosilicate glass, natural wood, and the hands between them

The shades are clear borosilicate glass. It is melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina, then shaped into tubes with fine vertical flutes. The flutes are what you notice. They break the bulb into soft lines of light, so you see a glow, not a glare.

At the centre sits a band of natural wood. Its grain stays visible, and warm light makes it look alive. Above and below it, two collars and the round backplate are 304-grade stainless steel in an antique copper finish.

In our Greater Noida factory, a craftsman fits the wood to the steel and seats each glass tube by hand. Glass, wood and steel meet in one clean line. Switch it on and the flutes turn a plain bulb into stripes of warm light up and down your wall.

Where a fluted glass wall light works best

Bedroom. Mount a pair either side of the headboard. You get light for reading and a soft wash on the wall, with your bedside table left free.

Hallway and passage. One fitting between two doors lights the corridor evenly and kills the dark patch halfway down.

Living room. Use it on a feature wall, or a pair beside a console or a dressing mirror.

Cafés and restaurants. A pair flanking an arch or a panelled wall gives warm, even light at table height.

Mount it as a single piece for a focal point, or as a matched pair for balance. It works as accent or layered light next to a ceiling fixture. As a bedside pair, the up-and-down glow is enough for reading on its own.

Light and fitting

The light takes two E14 bulbs, one in each glass tube, up to 40 W per holder. Bulbs are not included. Fit two 4–6 W warm-white 3000K LED bulbs. They run cool and give the golden glow this piece is made for.

It is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light when fitted with 3000K bulbs. It runs on 220–240 V and is rated IP20, for dry indoor walls only. Keep it away from showers and basins.

All the metal parts are 304-grade stainless steel in an antique copper finish. They carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. The finish, wood, glass and electrics are not part of that warranty.
