Overview
Some lights fill a room. This wooden wall sconce warms one corner of it, the bedside, the hallway, the wall beside your mirror, and makes that corner feel looked after.
It is a fluted wood arm that turns out from a round plate and lifts an opal borosilicate glass dome. It stands 32 cm tall. The arm is the detail you notice first: stacked rings of wood, turned one after another, so every ridge catches the light.
Wood, turned by hand, ring by ring
Wood is the slowest material we work with. It took years to grow its grain before it reached our bench.
Our craftsman turns the arm on a lathe, cutting each ring to the same depth, then bends the line into an L so it meets the wall. He sands it and leaves the grain open. The wood is a soft, natural grey-brown, and no two arms show the same grain.
On top sits a dome of opal borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. Opal means white colour is added while the glass is made. The shade is dense enough to hide the LED completely.
Switch it on and the opal dome glows soft and even. Light spills mostly down and out, with a gentle halo on the wall behind. The wood rings below pick up that warmth, so the grain looks alive at night.
Where a wooden wall sconce works best
Most wall lights give you one texture. This one gives you three: wood, opal borosilicate glass and an antique bronze finish on stainless steel.
- Bedside: Mount it at 140–150 cm. The dome throws soft light down onto your book, not into your face.
- Hallways: It projects 10 cm, so it clears your shoulders in a narrow passage. Repeat it every 2–3 metres for an even rhythm.
- Living room: A pair either side of a fireplace or a painting gives the room its finished layer.
- Dressing areas and powder rooms: Flank a mirror for even light on your face. Keep it in a dry zone.
It sits well with Japandi, Scandinavian, mid-century and modern minimal rooms. Walnut and teak furniture, linen and boucle, brass hardware and lime-plaster walls all suit it.
Light and fitting: built-in LED, no bulb to buy
The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy. It gives 1015 lumens from 8 watts, in 3000K warm white. That is bright enough to read by and warm enough to relax under.
There is no driver box to hide. The light runs straight off 220–240V mains, so your electrician wires it like any ordinary point. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we help free on a video call.
The LED module is rated for 50,000 hours on average. At 12 hours a day, that is over 11 years. It carries a 1-year warranty on the integrated 3000K warm-white LED, on orders from 4 October 2026 (Legal Policies 4.1B).
The round backplate and the finial on top are 304-grade stainless steel with an antique bronze finish. Their deep brown-black tone sits well with leather and walnut. Stainless steel does not rust, and it carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026 (Legal Policies 4.1A).
The light is not dimmable. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms only.

Shipping is free across India. Pay by UPI, card, net banking or EMI on eligible cards. If anything is damaged in transit, report it within 24 hours of delivery with photos and we sort it.
The stainless steel will not rust, with a lifetime warranty on orders from 4 October 2026. We hold spares for 10+ years, so a replacement shade years from now is a reorder, not a hunt. Designers get overnight project support and can request a quote for larger orders.

Vastu
Vastu guides ask for calm, warm light in a bedroom, the room where the day rests. They suggest soft yellow tones at the bedside, and they warn against harsh light directly over the bed. Soft lamps or wall lights are the gentler choice.
This sconce follows that idea. Its 3000K warm-white glow sits beside the bed, not above it, and the opal dome hides the LED, so there is no glare at eye level. Natural wood brings an earthy material into the room, and the rounded dome has no sharp edges at head height. In a hallway, a few of them keep dark corners lit, which Vastu guides also favour.
Vastu is a tradition of arranging a home so it feels right. We don’t promise luck. We make a light that helps your room feel calm at night.

FAQ
Where does a wooden wall sconce work best?
Beside a bed, along a hallway, beside a mirror or either side of a fireplace. Mount the centre at 140–150 cm. In a corridor, repeat it every 2–3 metres.
Is it dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Does it need a bulb or a separate driver?
Neither. The 3000K warm-white LED is built in, and the light connects straight to 220–240V mains. There is no driver box to hide in the wall.
How bright is it?
1015 lumens from 8 watts, in 3000K warm white. That is comfortable reading light at a bedside and enough for a hallway on its own.
Will the metal rust, and is the wood real?
The metal will not rust. The backplate and finial are 304-grade stainless steel, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. The arm is real wood, turned ring by ring on a lathe, so the grain varies from piece to piece.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
Only in a dry zone. It is IP20, so keep it well clear of showers and basins. For splash-prone spots, ask us about our IP65 range.
How long will the LED last?
50,000 hours on average. At 12 hours a day, that is over 11 years. We hold spare parts for 10+ years, so the shade and module stay available.
How do I install and clean it?
Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we guide you free on a video call. To clean, switch it off and wipe the wood and glass with a dry, soft cloth.
Can I order a pair, or a different size?
Yes. Pairs are common for bedsides and fireplaces. Custom sizes and finishes take 15–20 days, against 60–120 days for an imported piece. In stock, it ships within 4 working days; made to order, 12–15 working days.
