Overview
Picture your dining table at eight in the evening. The big lights are off. Above the table, thirteen small moons of stone are glowing, and everyone leans in a little closer. That is what this wood sputnik chandelier does to a room.
Thirteen lights reach out from a central hub on curved and straight arms. Each light is a reeded wood dome that cradles a real alabaster ball, and one sits in a round ring at the very centre. It is a true statement piece, 70 cm (27.6 in) across, in brushed gold or antique bronze. Lit, the balls glow like small warm moons. Unlit, the domes and the sculpted 304-grade stainless steel frame read as a piece of art.
Is the stone in this wood sputnik chandelier real alabaster?
Yes. Alabaster is stone formed beneath the earth, and no two blocks carry the same veins. A craftsman looks at the material before deciding how to work with it. He cuts each ball, then polishes it by hand, and leaves the stone’s own markings alone.
The wood brings the warmth. Each dome is reeded by hand in our own factory in India, ridge after ridge, so the surface catches the light. The domes take the same tone as the frame you pick, so the whole piece reads as one.
Then the switch. The light passes through the stone, and the alabaster softens it into a warm glow from inside. The veins appear. So every ball looks a little different, and no two chandeliers are the same. That is the piece doing what natural stone does. This wood sputnik chandelier takes 13 G9 bulbs, and they are not included. Fit 3000K warm-white LEDs for the softest glow through the stone. It is not dimmable. It runs on 220–240V and is rated IP20, made for indoor rooms, so keep it out of wet zones.
The frame, rod and canopy are 304-grade stainless steel, carrying your chosen finish. That steel comes with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. The drop is adjustable: the rod is set at installation to suit your ceiling.
