Where does an alabaster chandelier look best in an Indian home?
At 300 cm of drop and 18 orbs, this alabaster chandelier suits staircase voids, double-height foyers, and large dining halls with ceilings above 12 ft. What ceiling height does this alabaster chandelier need?
A minimum of 12 ft is recommended so the full 300 cm cascade hangs with comfortable headroom below. At 14 ft or higher — staircase voids, hotel lobbies, double-height drawing rooms — the full drop looks its most dramatic. The Teflon-coated suspension cables are adjustable, so the drop can be shortened for slightly lower ceilings.
How many bulbs does this alabaster chandelier use and what type?
18 integrated LED orbs — each lit from within, no separate bulbs needed and none to replace. Colour temperature is 3000K warm white, already optimised for natural alabaster so the stone glows amber, not flat or blue.
Can I adjust the drop of this alabaster chandelier for a lower ceiling?
The Teflon-coated copper suspension wires are adjustable — you can reduce the total drop from the maximum 300 cm to fit your space. For a 12 ft ceiling, most installers set the lowest orb at around 7 ft from the floor, placing the canopy at roughly 10 ft. Any electrician can adjust cable lengths during installation.
Can I get this alabaster chandelier in a different size or finish?
Jagmag manufactures in our own Greater Noida factory — custom alabaster chandeliers with different orb counts, canopy diameters, or frame finishes are available on request. Typical lead time is 15–20 days versus 60–120 days for importers. Send us your room dimensions and ceiling height and we’ll quote the same day.
