Overview
Late night, one chapter left, and the person beside you is asleep. This wall mounted study lamp was made for that moment. Flick one switch and a narrow beam lands on your page. Nothing else in the room wakes up.
It puts two lights on one slim frame. An opal borosilicate glass globe gives the room a soft glow. Below it, a cylinder reading spot swivels to point where you need it. Two switches on the backplate run them apart or together. It stands 33 cm tall and sits just 12 cm off the wall.
What is this wall mounted study lamp made of?
Two materials, each doing one job. The globe is opal borosilicate glass. It starts as clear glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. White colour is added while the glass is made. That is why it glows evenly, with no bright spot in the middle.
The frame, the backplate and the reading spot are 304-grade stainless steel. In our own Greater Noida factory, we cut the steel and shape the backplate and the long bar. Then we fit the swivel joint, so the spot turns smoothly and stays where you leave it. Then it gets a fine, textured matte black finish.
Because it is stainless steel, it will not rust. Every stainless steel part carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Switch it on and each material does its part. The opal glass softens the bulb into a round, even glow on the wall. The black steel stays quiet, so the glow is what you notice.
Where does a wall mounted study lamp work best?
- Beside the bed. Fix one on each side of the headboard at 140–150 cm from the floor. Angle the spot at your pillow or book. See all our bedroom wall lights.
- Above a study desk. In a compact study nook, it lights the desk without a table lamp crowding it. Above a study chair, mount it at 170–180 cm.

Light and fitting
There are two G9 holders: one in the globe, one in the reading spot. Each takes up to 40W. Bulbs are not included; fit a 3000K warm-white G9 LED in each. A 4–6W warm G9 LED gives clear, shadow-free reading light and costs little to run.
This light is not dimmable. Each switch gives a fixed warm light. It runs on 220–240V and mounts on its backplate, wired directly by your electrician. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms.
The matte black reads well on white plaster, dark grey or terracotta walls. Run both lights at 3000K for a calm bedroom reading setup that never feels clinical.

Can I use it as a wall mounted reading light for bed?
Yes. Fix it beside the headboard so the reading spot sits a little above your shoulder when you sit up in bed. Swivel the spot onto your page and switch the globe off, and the person beside you stays in the dark. It takes two G9 bulbs (not included); fit 3000K warm-white LEDs.
Can I use it as a study wall light above my desk?
Yes. Fixed above a study desk, it works as a study wall light. The reading spot swivels down onto your book or keyboard, and the opal globe lights the wall softly behind it. Above a study chair, mount it at 170–180 cm.
