Wall Mounted Bedside Light – Chrome Reading Sconce with White Fabric Shade, 43 cm

The book is open. The room is quiet. You want light on the page, and only a soft glow everywhere else. This wall mounted bedside light gives you both from one 43 cm fixture.

A white fabric shade sits on top and fills the wall with warm light. Below it, a slim 1 W LED reading spot on a swivel arm points exactly where you read. Each one has its own switch on the backplate. Shade, spot, or both. You choose.

Fabric, steel and a light that goes where you need it

The shade comes from our Fibre family. Fabric is pulled tight over a rectangular frame, 35 cm wide and 23 cm deep, and every edge is folded and finished by hand.

Switch it on and the cloth turns into one calm, even panel of light. Open at the top and bottom, the shade also throws a warm wash up and down the wall.

Behind it sits a polished chrome plate, 27 cm tall and 10 cm wide. It is 304-grade stainless steel, like the shade arm and the reading arm. Our craftsmen in Greater Noida cut, bend and polish it until it shines like a mirror. It will not rust, and that comes with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

Where a bedside wall light works best

Mount one on each side of the headboard, 140–150 cm from the floor. Your nightstand is suddenly free. No lamp to knock over, no cable trailing across the floor.

The reading spot swings toward your book and away from a sleeping partner. That matters when one of you reads late and the other doesn’t.

It also suits a reading nook, a guest room, or the wall beside a study desk, mounted at 160–170 cm. In a large room, pair it with a ceiling light for daytime and keep this one for the evening.

Light and fitting: what you need to know

The shade takes one E27 bulb, up to 40 W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 5–7 W, 3000K warm-white LED for a soft, glare-free glow through the fabric.

The reading spot is a built-in 1 W LED in 3000K warm white. Bright enough to read by, warm enough to feel restful. It carries a 1-year warranty on the LED module for orders from 4 October 2026 (Legal Policies 4.1B).

It runs on 220–240 V and is hardwired to a standard 2-wire wall point. It is not dimmable. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms. A quick wipe with a soft dry cloth keeps the chrome bright.
