Overview
Switch it on and the bulb glows inside a clear dome, like a small lantern on your wall. This dome wall light hangs a 20 cm half-globe of clear borosilicate glass from a curved arm in an antique brass finish. The light falls down and out, and washes the wall in a soft halo.
It is 24 cm tall and comes 24 cm out from the wall. One E27 bulb. One round backplate. Nothing on your bedside table.
Clear borosilicate glass, a steel arm and the hands between them
Glass is where light begins. Ours is borosilicate glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. Nothing is added to colour it, so it stays crystal-clear.
It is formed into an open half-globe, then fitted by hand under the holder collar in our factory. Switch on and light passes through the glass clean. The bulb itself becomes the thing you look at.
The arm, holder and backplate are 304-grade stainless steel in an antique brass finish. It’s a brushed, warm gold that catches the room light even when the lamp is off. The steel carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Where a dome wall light works best
Beside the bed is the classic spot. Fit one each side of the headboard at 120–140 cm from the floor. Each of you gets your own light, at reading height, without waking the other.
In a living room or entryway, fit a matched pair either side of a mirror, console or dresser. On its own as an accent, centre the backplate at 150–160 cm. In a narrow hallway or on a stair landing, it gives light where a floor lamp has no room to stand.
It suits guest rooms and hotel-style bedrooms too. Each sconce is sold on its own, so order two for a pair.
The warm finish sits well on white, off-white, beige, blush, dusty green and deep navy walls. It pairs with marble, teak, rattan, linen and natural stone. It looks less at home beside cool chrome or stark industrial black. Light and fitting: what you need to know
It takes one E27 (Edison screw) bulb, up to 60 W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED; a globe or filament-style LED looks best through the clear dome.
It runs on 220–240 V and wires straight to a wall point through the round backplate. It is not dimmable. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms, not in a shower zone or outdoors.
Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes. We also give free video-call installation support.

Vastu tradition asks for soft, warm light in the bedroom, and no harsh fitting straight above the bed. Many Vastu guides suggest wall lights beside the bed instead. A 3000K glow through a clear dome fits that idea.
The same guides say to keep hallways, entrances and stair landings well lit, with no dark corners, and favour the north and east walls for fixtures. They also prefer natural materials such as stone, wood and metal. Here that is borosilicate glass made from sand, and steel that grounds it.
