Overview
Six beams of warm light cross into a starburst on your wall, from one block of real travertine. This outdoor up and down light is 22 cm wide, 8 cm tall and only 5 cm deep. Three beams rise above the stone. Three fall below. Where they meet the wall, they cross into a soft pattern of light and shade.
The 3000K warm-white LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy. It is rated IP65, so it works on an outside wall as well as inside your home.
Real travertine, with its pits left open
Travertine is stone that formed slowly from mineral-rich water, one thin layer over another, across thousands of years. That is where its small pits and fine lines come from.
Our craftsman cuts each block to size, then hones its face by hand. He leaves the natural pits open instead of filling them. So no two lights look quite the same.
Switched off, it is a quiet cream-beige block on the wall. Switched on, the stone warms up and the beams draw their starburst above and below it.
Where this outdoor up and down light works
- Main door and porch. Fix one on each side of the door and the entrance gets two matching starbursts of warm light.
- Gate pillars and compound walls. IP65 keeps out dust and jets of water, so it can live on an outside wall all year.
- Staircases and passages. At 5 cm deep, it stays out of the way on a stair wall, and its beams mark each landing.
- Bedroom and living room. Above a bedside table or on a feature wall, it gives a soft glow for the evening.
Fix two or more at the same height to repeat the pattern along a long wall.
Light and fitting
The LED is built in and warm white, 3000K. No bulb needed. This light is not dimmable; it gives one steady, warm glow.
This outdoor up and down light runs on 220–240V mains and is wired straight into the wall. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we stay on a free video call while you install.
The built-in LED is covered for 1 year. Spare parts stay available for 10+ years.

Yes. It is rated IP65, sealed against dust and jets of water, so it suits porches, gate pillars and outside walls. It works just as well indoors.
