Know your light
This wood cone pendant light pairs a turned teak wood cone shade with a slim brushed brass stem, and sets a white opal glass globe just below the rim. The wood keeps the light warm and matte; the opal glass softens the bulb into an even glow. It suits a bedside, a dining table, a study desk or a quiet corner in a Scandinavian, Japandi or warm-modern home.
Where it fits
- Bedside or reading nook: the slim 6 inch shade hangs neatly beside a bed and frees the nightstand for books.
- Over a dining table: hang two or three of this wood cone pendant light in a row, or stagger a pair, for warm light over the table.
- Study or work table: the downward cone throws light onto the desk rather than into your eyes.
- Entry, hallway or console: a single piece adds a soft, organic glow without crowding a narrow space.

Why you’ll use it every day
The opal glass globe does the real work: it turns a bare bulb into a soft, even glow, so you can sit under this light for hours without glare or eye strain. The cone shade sends most of that light downward onto a table or a book, which is exactly where you want it while eating, reading or working. Because the shade is turned from real wood, the grain runs differently on every piece, so it looks made rather than moulded. It takes a standard E27 bulb, so you choose your own warmth and swap it in seconds — no proprietary parts. It is made in India, and Jagmag keeps spare parts for 10+ years.
Light & finish
Lit, the opal glass globe glows warm and even, and the inside of the wood cone catches a little of that light at the rim. Unlit, the piece reads as a quiet sculptural cone — deep brown wood grain against brushed brass, on a black cord. This wood cone pendant light gives warm, low-glare light that flatters timber, stone and linen, so it sits comfortably in both a modern and a rustic room.
Vaastu & positive energy
In Vaastu, wood is associated with the earth element and is traditionally linked with grounding, growth and calm — a common preference for bedrooms, studies and dining spaces. Brass is associated with the metal element and with warmth and prosperity. The soft, diffused glow of this wood cone pendant light is generally favoured over harsh direct light where you want a restful mood, and rounded forms like the globe are traditionally preferred over sharp edges for smooth, easy energy flow.

What buyers say
Common questions
What is a wood cone pendant light made of?
A turned teak wood cone shade in a deep brown finish, a brushed brass stem and canopy, and a white opal glass globe. The wood grain differs on every piece.
What bulb does it take and is one included?
It takes a standard E27 bulb, which is not included. A warm-white LED at 2700–3000K gives the softest, most flattering glow through the opal glass.
How big is it and how high should I hang it?
It is 10 inches (25 cm) tall and 6 inches (15 cm) wide. Over a table, hang the base 75 to 85 cm above the surface; at a bedside, set it at comfortable reading height.
Where does a wood cone pendant light work best?
Beside a bed, over a dining table, above a study desk, or in an entry. The downward glow suits everyday rooms where you read, eat or work.
Is it indoor only?
Yes, it is rated IP20 for indoor use.
Can I hang several together?
Yes. Two or three in a row, or a staggered pair, look striking over a dining table or island. Tell us your table size and we will suggest how many and at what drops.
