Overview
Switch it on and the weave glows like honey. This rattan globe pendant light is a wide, softly flattened globe of natural rattan, woven by hand. Open rods at the top and bottom let light fall straight onto your table. Around the middle, the close weave glows warm and throws a woven pattern on your walls. It comes in three sizes: Ø 40, 50 or 60 cm.
Real rattan, woven by hand
Rattan is a climbing palm that grows in tropical forests. Its stems are strong and light, and they bend without breaking. That puts it in our fibre family, beside cane, jute and linen.
A craftsman in our Greater Noida factory bends the rods into a globe. Then he weaves thin rattan strands over and under them, row by row, all the way round. At the top and bottom he leaves the rods open and binds them into a fan. Because rattan is natural, every shade has small changes in tone and weave. No two are quite the same.
Light does the rest. The close weave turns one bulb into a warm, even glow. The open ends send a clean pool of light down to the table. That is the charm of a rattan ball light: atmosphere and useful light from one shade.

Light and fitting
It takes one E27 bulb. The bulb is not included; fit a 3000K warm-white LED. An LED stays cool, which is kind to natural fibre, and 3000K brings out the honey tone of the rattan. It is not dimmable.
It hangs on a dark cord that adjusts up to 120 cm, set at installation. Every metal part we make, including the ceiling canopy and fittings, is 304-grade stainless steel, so it will not rust. It carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
It is a hard-wired ceiling pendant for 220–240V, rated IP20 for indoor dry areas. Keep it away from bathrooms, wet areas and outdoors. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we help free on a video call.

Vastu writers ask for daylight by day and soft, warm light in the evening where a family eats. The dining area is often placed in the west or north-west of the home. Warm, calm colours such as beige and honey are preferred, and natural materials are linked with growth and harmony.
In a bedroom, the guidance is gentle light with no glare, shaded so the bulb never shines in your eyes. Fittings in wood, stone or plant fibre are favoured over plastic. Light should reach every corner, and the south-west corner is kept free of a main light.

What sizes does the rattan globe pendant light come in?
It comes in three sizes: Ø 40 × H 22 cm, Ø 50 × H 28 cm and Ø 60 × H 32 cm. Pick 50 cm for a 4–6 seat dining table, 60 cm for a larger table or living room, and 40 cm for a bedside or a row over an island. The cord adjusts up to 120 cm.
Is it real rattan?
Yes. The shade is natural rattan, woven by hand in our Greater Noida factory. Each strand varies a little in tone, so every shade is slightly different.
Does it come with a bulb?
No. It has one E27 holder and the bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED; it stays cool next to the rattan and brings out its honey tone.
Can I dim it?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Will it rust, and can it go in a bathroom?
The ceiling canopy and fittings are 304-grade stainless steel, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. The light is rated IP20 for indoor dry areas, so keep it out of bathrooms, wet areas and outdoors.
