Overview
Switch it on and the stone glows from inside. This alabaster wall light sets two fluted tubes of natural alabaster one above the other, with a dark bronze-finish sphere capping each end. The light goes up and down the wall in a warm 3000K glow. It stands 50 cm tall and only 10 cm wide, so it reads as one slim line of light.
Why fluted alabaster glows the way it does
Alabaster is stone formed beneath the earth. It is soft enough to carve and thin enough to let light through.
Our craftsman reads each block before he cuts it. He shapes the tube, then cuts the ribs into it by hand, one flute at a time. He leaves the veins alone.
Light it up and two things happen. The veins inside the stone show as soft grey and honey lines. The ribs break the glow into gentle vertical bands. You get texture on the wall, not a flat bright patch.
No two pieces match. The veins run differently, the colour shifts, and the edges look darker where the stone is denser. Order a pair and you get siblings, not twins.
The spheres, the centre collar and the round wall plate are 304-grade stainless steel in an antique bronze finish, a deep warm brown-black. That steel carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
Where an alabaster wall light works in your home

Unlit, it still earns its place. The pale stone reads almost white on a light wall, and the bronze-finish spheres give it weight. It sits well with wood, brass, leather, marble and travertine.

Light and fitting
The LED is built in. It is a 3000K warm-white LED, so there is no bulb to buy, match or replace. The integrated LED module carries a 1-year warranty on orders from 4 October 2026.
The upper tube lights the wall and ceiling above. The lower tube washes down. The stone diffuses both, so there is no glare and no hard shadow line. Together they make a tall column of warm light, roughly twice the height of the fixture.
It is hardwired at 220–240V and rated IP65, which means indoor and dry areas only. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes. We guide you on a free video call if you want help.

Vastu tradition prefers warm white light where you rest and gather, such as bedrooms and living rooms. It asks you to avoid harsh, bright light right above or facing the bed. Soft wall lights are the usual answer, and this one throws its warm 3000K glow up and down rather than at you.
Vastu also pays attention to corners. Dark, unlit corners are believed to make a room feel heavy, and the north-east is meant to stay bright and uncluttered. A slim sconce lights a corner or a passage without taking any floor space. Natural stone belongs to the earth element, which Vastu links with a grounded, steady feeling. The bedroom’s south-west is traditionally kept to soft, warm light, which suits this piece. Vastu also favours soft, curved shapes for fixtures at eye level, and this one has no sharp corners, only rounded spheres at each end.

FAQ
Is this real alabaster stone?
Yes, both tubes are natural alabaster, hand-cut and fluted in our factory. The veins, colour and darker edges differ from piece to piece. That is the stone, not a defect.
Does this alabaster wall light need a bulb?
No, the LED is built in at 3000K warm white. There is no bulb to buy, and nothing to match if you fit several. The LED module has a 1-year warranty on orders from 4 October 2026.
Will the metal parts rust?
No, they are 304-grade stainless steel in an antique bronze finish. You get a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. It covers rusting of the steel, not the finish.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
Not in a wet zone. It is rated IP65, so keep it to dry indoor areas, clear of showers and basins. Ask us about our IP65 range if you need something splash-rated.
How is it installed?
Any licensed electrician hardwires it in 20–30 minutes. Mount the centre at 140–150 cm from the floor. We also guide you free on a video call.
