Overview
Some evenings you don’t want the big light. You want one soft glow on the wall, and a room that feels calm.
This white wall light does that. A 25 cm pebble of opal borosilicate glass sits on a small matte white backplate. Switch it on and the whole pebble glows, warm and even, with no bright spot in the middle.

Why does an opal glass pebble glow so softly?
Glass starts as earth. Silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina are melted into borosilicate glass, the clear, pure glass we use for every shade.
For this light, white colour is added while the glass is made. That is opal borosilicate glass. Our glassworker then shapes it into a soft, uneven pebble, like a river stone, and gives the surface a smooth matte feel.
Light does the rest. The built-in LED sits behind the glass, and the opal spreads it through the whole shape. You see a glowing stone, not a bulb.
Where does a white wall light work best?
- Bedroom: one on each side of the headboard, centre at 150–160 cm. The glow settles the room for sleep without a harsh ceiling light.
- Hallway and corridor: at 25 cm tall and 13.5 cm deep, it fills a narrow wall without fighting door frames or art.
- Hotel and guest rooms: a matched pair replaces bedside lamps and keeps the nightstand clear.
- Living room, dining nook or café corner: it adds a soft accent glow on a feature wall after dark.
Unlit, it reads as a clean white sculpture on the wall. It suits modern minimal, Scandinavian and soft contemporary rooms, on white, off-white, cream, grey or sage walls.

Light, steel and fitting
The backplate is 304-grade stainless steel in a matte white finish, 10 cm across. Steel is the frame here, not the hero. It carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
The light is a built-in 7W LED, 3000K warm white. There is no bulb to buy or change. The LED module has a 1-year warranty on orders from 4 October 2026.
It is not dimmable. It gives one fixed, warm 3000K glow. It runs on 220–240V, is hardwired to the wall, and is rated IP20, for indoor dry rooms only.

Vastu tradition favours warm, soft light in bedrooms and living rooms, and asks you to avoid harsh light over or near the bed. A warm 3000K glow behind opal glass, mounted beside the headboard rather than above it, follows that thinking.
Vastu also says dark corners and dim corridors should not be left unlit, and that light should be steady, never flickering. Soft wall lights suit the north and north-east, while the south and west are kept subtle. A small wall light in a long hallway keeps the passage evenly lit.
