Overview
Some lights fill a room. This one warms the corner you sit in. A boho pendant light with a cone shade of natural raffia, wound by hand over a slim matte black frame. Ø 25 cm, 40.6 cm tall. Hang it over your dining table, kitchen island or bedside, and the evening slows down.
The standout detail is the winding. Turn after turn of raffia sits side by side between thin black ribs, so the cone reads as soft lines, not a solid shade. Switch it on and those lines glow.
Why raffia makes a warmer boho pendant light
Raffia is a plant fibre. It comes from the leaves of the raffia palm, so it belongs to our Fibre family, next to cane, jute and linen.
A craftsman in our Greater Noida factory winds it around the frame by hand, one panel at a time. Each turn is pulled snug against the last. Where a panel ends, the next begins at the rib. A wound band marks the line where the cone steps out at the lower tier.
Light does the rest. The cream fibre softens a bulb into a warm wash. It spills down and to the sides, with no glare and no harsh edge, and throws a gentle dappled pattern on the ceiling and walls. Natural fibre means small changes in tone from turn to turn. That is the material showing, not a flaw.
Where this raffia pendant light works
At 25 cm wide it suits any surface up to about 120 cm across. Hang it 70–75 cm above a kitchen counter, or 75–85 cm above a dining table.
One over a bedside table makes a warm reading light that never feels clinical. In an open-plan drawing room it adds texture without visual weight. Light and fitting
The frame, ribs and canopy are 304-grade stainless steel with a matte black finish. No chrome, no nickel, just a quiet line against timber, stone or plaster ceilings. Stainless steel will not rust, and it carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
It hangs on 1.5 m of Teflon-coated copper wire, shortened at installation. It takes one E27 bulb, up to 60 W. Bulb not included; fit a 6–9 W, 3000K warm-white LED. That runs cool inside the raffia and brings out the cream of the fibre best.
The cone is open at the top and the base, so heat escapes freely and light falls exactly where you need it. This light is not dimmable. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms only.

FAQ
How low should I hang this boho pendant light?
Hang it 70–75 cm above a kitchen counter or 75–85 cm above a dining table. The 1.5 m wire is shortened at installation. For a high or vaulted ceiling, ask us for extra wire before your installation day.
What bulb does this raffia pendant light take?
It takes one E27 bulb, up to 60 W, and the bulb is not included. Fit a 6–9 W, 3000K warm-white LED. It stays cool inside the raffia and brings out the cream of the fibre.
Is this pendant light dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
