Bamboo Hanging Light – 60 cm Woven Dome Pendant for Kitchen & Dining

This bamboo hanging light is a 60 cm dome of natural bamboo, woven by hand into an open weave and left in its own honey-tan colour. Switch it on and the light filters through in a warm, dappled pattern, softer than a glass shade and more alive than fabric. The dome is 37 cm tall and hangs from a brass-finish 304-grade stainless steel canopy on 1.5 m of cord, trimmed to your ceiling at installation. E27 holder, bulb not included; fit a 3000K warm-white LED. Hang it over a dining table or kitchen island and the room settles. Made in India, in our own factory.

Where it fits

This bamboo pendant was made for dining tables and kitchen islands, but it earns its place in living rooms, studios, and covered verandahs too. The 60 cm dome is wide enough to light a four-seat table from a single point — hang it 75–90 cm above the table surface. Over a counter or island, drop it a little lower at 70–75 cm. Three in a row spaced 80 cm apart over a long rectangular table looks intentional and welcoming. Why you’ll use it every day

A bamboo pendant does two jobs at once: it focuses task light downward where you need it, and it softens the entire room with natural texture. The open weave means the 60 cm bamboo dome never feels heavy — light escapes sideways and upward even while it pools on the surface below. One pendant over a four-seat dining table is enough. Three over a long kitchen island table is even better. The E26/E27 holder takes a standard bulb; a 3000K warm-white LED suits the bamboo best.

Light & finish

The shade is the colour of the material itself — natural honey-tan bamboo, no dye, no coating. A 6–9W warm-white LED at 3000K is the right match for this bamboo pendant. The open weave throws a soft, dappled pattern onto the ceiling and walls, not just downward. For a softer evening look, choose a 3000K LED filament bulb; the weave frames the glowing filament beautifully. The brass-finish metal canopy and E26/E27 holder complement the bamboo’s warm, natural tone. No plastic parts. No stark chrome.
