Know your light
This glass flower pendant light is built around a shade formed from eight ribbed clear glass petals that fan outward and curl at their tips, 25 cm across, like a flower caught mid-bloom. Three decorative glass orbs in emerald green, clear crystal, and deep ruby red sit at the collar where the petals meet the fitting, set against a ring of gold metallic accent beads. The canopy and hardware are polished gold metal. It suits corridors, dining rooms, kitchen islands, bedrooms, and foyer areas — any space where one point of warm decorative light needs to do more than simply illuminate.
Where it fits
- Dining room: A single pendant centred over a round or small dining table brings the table alive at dinner without blocking conversation across it. For a longer rectangular table, two pendants spaced evenly work better.
- Kitchen island: Hang one at 700 mm above the counter surface — task lighting that looks good between meals, not just during them.
- Corridor or entrance hall: Three in a row at the same drop height creates a polished, layered look down the full length of the hallway. Browse living room pendant lights for companion pieces that work in adjacent spaces.
- Bedroom or dressing area: Used as a bedside pendant or over a dressing console, it replaces a table lamp and frees the nightstand entirely.
Why you’ll use it every day
The ribbed glass texture earns this pendant its place beyond special occasions. On an ordinary evening with a warm filament bulb, the ribbing scatters light in every direction — softening shadows across the room without the harsh ceiling bounce of a plain dome shade. The three coloured orbs catch the light differently as the day changes, giving the shade a subtly different quality at noon versus evening. Unlit, it holds its own as an ornamental object — most guests notice it before anything else in the room. The adjustable drop lets you position it precisely: close to the ceiling in a corridor with lower clearance, or long and dramatic over a dining table.
Light & finish
Lit with a warm filament bulb, the eight ribbed petals scatter amber glow in multiple directions — no single hotspot, just layered warmth that reaches the walls. The coloured orbs glow from within, the emerald and ruby catching light differently from the clear crystal beside them, creating small pools of colour at the collar. Unlit, the shade reads as a sculptural object: the ribbing adds strong texture and the polished gold canopy anchors the whole form. It sits naturally in cream and ivory interiors, alongside dark wood furniture and brass accents, in rattan-filled and classic heritage Indian rooms. It does not suit all-white minimalist or industrial exposed-concrete spaces, where the decorative detail reads as out of place.
Vaastu & positive energy
In Vaastu Shastra, clear glass is traditionally associated with clarity and the free flow of light energy — considered beneficial in living areas where family gathers. Polished gold hardware is associated with warmth and prosperity in the home. The flower form — petals opening outward — is traditionally considered auspicious and associated with welcome and abundance. A row of three pendants along a corridor axis is in Vaastu considered to promote smooth, uninterrupted energy flow through the home. The emerald green orb is traditionally associated with nature and vitality; the deep ruby red with warmth and strength.

What buyers say
Common questions
Can I use this pendant over a dining table?
Yes. For a round table up to 900 mm diameter, centre one pendant 700–750 mm above the tabletop. For a longer rectangular table, use two pendants spaced evenly along its length.
What bulb shows the ribbed glass at its best?
A 4–6 W E27 warm white LED filament at 2700 K gives the amber glow visible in the product photographs. Avoid cool white bulbs — they make the ribbed glass look grey rather than warm.
Can I run three of these in a row down a corridor?
Yes — image 6 shows exactly this arrangement. Space them 700–900 mm apart at the same drop height for a polished, even effect along the hallway.
Is the drop adjustable?
Yes. The standard cord gives a 550 mm total drop from ceiling to base of shade. You can extend it to a maximum of 1,000 mm or shorten it by gathering the cord inside the canopy fitting.
Does this come with a bulb?
No. The fixture ships without a bulb. Fit an E27 LED filament (warm white, 4–6 W, 2700 K) for the best result with the ribbed glass texture.
Can I install it myself?
The pendant mounts to a standard ceiling rose. Wiring connections should be done by a licensed electrician, particularly when installing multiple pendants in a row from one circuit.
