Black Marble Pendant Light – Meryl | 15 cm Marble Hanging Light with Gold Cap

Picture a quiet dinner. One small pool of warm light on the table, and real stone hanging just above it. This marble hanging light is a 15 cm drum of natural black marble under a brushed gold cap. We make it in our own Greater Noida factory. Its pale veins run across the black like lightning in a night sky, and no two drums carry the same pattern.

Black marble, cut and polished by hand

Marble is stone, formed beneath the earth over millions of years. We don’t try to make it uniform.

Our craftsman reads each block first, then cuts the drum, hollows it and polishes the outside smooth. The veins he finds are left exactly where nature put them.

Black marble is dense, so the light does not pass through it. Instead the bulb sits inside a gold-coloured lining and throws a tight, warm circle straight down. The stone stays dark and calm, and the room light picks out its pale veins.

Where a small marble pendant works best

At 15 cm wide, it fits places where a 30 cm shade would feel heavy.

Dining table: hang three in a row over a table of 160 cm or more. Space them 40–50 cm apart, 75–90 cm above the top. That is exactly how it is shown in our photos.

Kitchen island: hang one or two 70–75 cm above the counter for clear task light.

Bedside: drop one 55–65 cm above the mattress and free up your side table.

It also suits a living room corner or reading chair. It sits well in modern, minimalist and Japandi rooms, next to white marble, warm wood, linen and terrazzo. We’d avoid ceilings under 8 ft; 9 ft gives you a comfortable drop.

Light, fitting and the steel that holds it

The cap and the ceiling canopy are 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed gold finish. The steel carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.

It hangs on Teflon-coated copper wire in a black cord, up to 100 cm long. Your electrician shortens it to the height you want at installation.

Inside is one E27 holder, up to 60 W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 6–9 W, 3000K warm-white LED for the softest, warmest pool of light. This light is not dimmable. It runs on 220–240 V and is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms.
