Marble Pendant Light – Meryl | 15 cm White Marble Cylinder, Gold Cap

Some lights fill a room. This one settles a table. The Meryl is a marble light you can hang close: a 15 cm cylinder of white marble with soft grey veins, under a brushed gold cap. Switch it on and a warm pool of light falls straight down onto your plate, your counter or your book.

It is small on purpose. One fits a bedside nook where a table lamp would crowd the shelf. Three in a row give a long dining table a clean, quiet line of light.

What makes this marble pendant light different?

Marble belongs to the Stone family in our work. It is stone formed slowly beneath the earth, and its grey veins are how it remembers that. No two Meryl shades carry the same pattern.

A craftsman in our Greater Noida factory reads each block before cutting. He decides where the veins should run across the face of the drum. Then he turns the cylinder, hollows it and polishes the outside smooth. The rim is left clean and even.

This is real marble, cut and polished by hand. It is not a print, a paint or a coating made to look like stone. When the light is on, the warm glow catches the rim and brings the veins forward. Off, it reads as a crisp white stone with a gold crown.

Where does a 15 cm marble pendant light work best?

Over a kitchen island, hang it 70–75 cm above the counter. The open base sends the light down, so you get real task light, not just mood. Over a dining table, hang it 75–80 cm above the top.

By the bed, a drop of around 90–100 cm from a 9 ft ceiling puts it at reading height. It also works over a reading corner in a living room. Over a table 150 cm or longer, hang three in a row, 40–50 cm apart.

It suits rooms 10 ft × 10 ft and above, with a ceiling of 9 ft or more. Skip it for ceilings under 8 ft, and for heavy rustic or dark traditional-wood rooms. It sits well in modern minimalist, Japandi, contemporary, luxury modern, coastal and Art Deco homes, next to a marble island, brass hardware, a natural wood table or linen seating.

Light, cap and cord: what you get

The cap and the 10 cm ceiling canopy are 304-grade stainless steel. The cap has a brushed gold finish. Steel like this does not rust, and we give a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026 (Legal Policies 4.1A).

It hangs on a black fabric cord with Teflon-coated copper wire. The drop is adjustable up to 100 cm, so the light sits at most 117.5 cm below the ceiling. Your electrician sets the height during fitting.

Inside is one E27 holder, up to 60 W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 6–9 W warm-white LED at 3000K. It brings out the grey veins and keeps the glow calm. The light is not dimmable. It runs on 220–240V and is IP20, made for dry indoor rooms.
