Linear Pendant Light – 3-Light Opal Glass Chandelier Bar, Brushed Brass, 85 cm

Picture your table at nine at night. Dinner is done, nobody wants to get up, and three soft white globes hold the light low over the plates. That is what this linear pendant light does for a dining room.

It is a straight 85 cm bar with three opal glass globes hanging in a row. Each globe is 18 cm wide and gently rounded, a little wider than it is tall. So the light spreads along the whole table, not in one bright spot in the middle.

What is opal borosilicate glass, and what does it do to light?

Each globe is opal borosilicate glass. It begins as natural raw ingredients: silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. They are melted together, and white colour is added while the glass is made.

So the white is inside the glass itself. It cannot peel, fade or wear off.

Switch it on and the globe stops looking like glass. It becomes a quiet, even glow with no hot spot and no glare in your eyes. A small opening at the base of each globe lets a little extra light fall straight onto the table.

The bar, the three bell-shaped holders and the long canopy are 304-grade stainless steel. In our Greater Noida factory, a craftsman cuts, bends and joins the steel by hand, then gives it a brushed brass finish. The steel is the quiet frame. The glass is the light.

Where does a linear pendant light work best?

Over a dining table. Hang it 75–90 cm above the tabletop and all three globes light the whole surface evenly. No dark corners, no harsh shine on the plates, and faces look warm, not lit from a harsh spot above.

Over a kitchen island, hang it 70–75 cm above the counter. It also suits a café counter, or a reading nook in your living room where you want soft light from above instead of a spotlight. It even works in a bedroom ceiling nook, or above a console table in an entryway.

Got a long 2.4 m table? Hang two bars in a row. The brushed brass sits well with warm timber, rattan and plain tile, and the clean lines suit a modern or Scandinavian room.

Light and fitting

Each globe takes one E27 bulb, up to 40 W. The bulbs are not included. Fit three 3000K warm-white LED bulbs of 6–8 W for the kindest light on food and faces.

This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm glow. It is IP20, made for indoor rooms, and runs on 220–240 V.

The bar hangs on two black cords, up to 120 cm long. Your electrician shortens them at installation to suit your ceiling; 2.4–3 m ceilings work well. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we help for free on a video call.

All the steel is 304-grade stainless steel, with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. To clean it, wipe the globes with a damp cloth.
