Overview
A drum of real alabaster on a slim brass-finish stem: switch it on and the stone glows like warm parchment, with honey veins drifting across it. This floor lamp with shade stands 152 cm (60″) tall. The alabaster drum is 25 cm (10″) wide and 15 cm (6″) deep, held on three short arms above a single E27 bulb, with a round, weighted base at the floor.
A shade cut from real stone
Alabaster is a soft, translucent stone formed in the earth over thousands of years. Cut thin, it lets light through, so when the lamp is on, the whole drum glows and every vein shows.
In our Greater Noida factory, a craftsman shapes the drum from natural alabaster and polishes it smooth by hand. Some shades glow creamy white; others carry warm honey and amber clouds. No two are ever the same.
The stem, arms and base are made from 304-grade stainless steel with a brushed brass finish. Steel this good never rusts, so the lamp keeps its finish for years.
Where this alabaster floor lamp works best
- Beside a sofa or armchair. It lights the corner softly and gives a warm pool of light for a cup of tea or a book. See our living room floor lamps.
- In a study or home office. Next to a desk or bookshelf, the glowing stone makes the room feel calm and finished.
- In libraries, lounges and hotel rooms. Its slim stem fits tight corners, and a pair either side of a sofa or bed looks balanced and grand.
The drum is open at the top and bottom, so light falls down onto the floor and washes up the wall, while the stone glows in between. For reading, fit a brighter warm-white bulb. It suits classic, modern-luxe and warm-minimal rooms: marble, walnut, leather, bouclé and brass.

Light and switching
It takes one E27 bulb. The bulb is not included; fit a 3000K warm-white E27 LED for the warmest glow through the stone. It is not dimmable.
The lamp plugs into a normal wall socket. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms.
