Overview
Switch it on and the room changes. This art deco floor lamp stands 165 cm tall, with a two-tier shade of real cream alabaster and black marble panels set in a brushed brass finish frame. The alabaster glows warm from inside. The marble stays dark. Together they draw the bold, stepped lines the 1920s made famous.
It is built for the corner beside your sofa, your reading chair or your bed. A foot switch on the cord turns it on. No wall switch, no ceiling work.
Real alabaster and black marble, cut by hand
Alabaster is stone formed beneath the earth. So is marble. We don’t try to make them uniform.
Our craftsman looks at each slab before he cuts it. Where do the veins run? Which part should face the room? He cuts every panel by hand, smooths its edges, and sets it into the stepped steel frame one piece at a time. The cream alabaster goes where the light should pour through. The black marble goes where the line should hold.
Then the light does the rest. Alabaster is translucent, so it lights up from within and every vein shows. Marble is dense, so it stays a deep black stripe between the glowing panels. That contrast is what makes this an art deco floor lamp, not just a tall lamp with a shade.

Light, steel and fitting
The pole, base and shade frame are 304-grade stainless steel with a brushed brass PVD finish. The pole is a slim 25 mm, so it almost disappears against the wall from across the room. Stainless steel does not rust, and we back that with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
The lamp takes one E27 bulb, up to 60W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED and the alabaster glows honey-warm. The lamp is not dimmable. It runs on 220–240V, is rated IP20 and is made for indoor rooms.

Vastu

FAQ
Is this art deco floor lamp the right height for my living room?
Yes, for most Indian living rooms. It stands 165 cm tall, which puts the shade just above eye level when you sit, so the light is soft and glare-free. It suits any room with an 8 ft ceiling or higher.
Are the alabaster and marble real?
Yes. The cream panels are real alabaster and the dark panels are real black marble, both natural stones cut by hand. That is why the veins differ from lamp to lamp.
Which bulb does it take, and is the bulb included?
It takes one E27 bulb up to 60W, and the bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED for the warmest glow through the alabaster.
Is it dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Will the metal rust?
No. The pole, base and frame are 304-grade stainless steel with a brushed brass PVD finish. We give a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026.
