Overview
The Classic Alabaster Globe Chandelier is a traditional brass chandelier with six natural alabaster globes. Scrolling brass arms curve out from a carved alabaster column, and each arm ends in a round alabaster globe with fine grey and gold veining. One more globe hangs below the centre. Each light uses a standard E27 holder, so bulbs are easy to buy and replace. It is 60 cm wide and hangs on an adjustable 50 cm chain. Made in India by Jagmag Lights, a manufacturer with its own factory.
Where the alabaster globe chandelier fits
Classic scroll arms and soft stone globes suit rooms with panelled walls, cornices and wooden furniture. This alabaster globe chandelier looks best when it is the centre of the room.
- Dining room: over a 4 to 6 seater dining table of about 120-150 cm.
- Living room: in the middle of a formal sitting room with a normal ceiling height.
- Foyer or hall: a warm welcome at the entrance.
- Bedroom and study: a classic centrepiece for a larger room.

Why you’ll love this alabaster globe chandelier
- Real alabaster globes: no two have the same veining.
- Classic brass scroll arms with a warm, aged-brass look.
- E27 holders: standard bulbs that are cheap, easy to find and easy to change.
- Six soft pools of light instead of one hard glare.
- Adjustable 50 cm chain, so you can set the height over your table.
Light and material of the alabaster globe chandelier
Alabaster is a natural stone (read about alabaster) that lets light through softly. Lit, each globe glows warm, with the veining showing as gold and grey clouds. Unlit, the stone shows white with dark grey veining. Veining differs from piece to piece, so no two alabaster globe chandeliers look exactly the same.
Each light uses an E27 holder. Bulbs are not included. Use warm white 2700-3000 K LED bulbs for the best glow with alabaster. If you want to control the mood, use dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer.
The alabaster globe chandelier is 60 cm (23.6 in) wide and 45 cm (17.7 in) tall, with a 50 cm adjustable chain. Each alabaster globe is 12.5 cm (4.9 in) across. Holder: E27, 6 lights. Voltage 220-240 V. Indoor use (IP20). Bulbs not included. See the dimension drawing in the gallery and the specification list above.

Vastu
In Vaastu, soft warm light over the dining table is considered good for togetherness, appetite and family bonding. A chandelier should hang in the centre of the room or table, with even light and no dark corners. Natural stone such as alabaster is a grounding material, and its gentle glow suits dining and sitting rooms. Avoid hanging it directly under a beam.
Care
·Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
·Spot-clean with a pH-neutral cleaner on a cloth — never spray directly.
·Wipe the stainless steel gently dry after cleaning. Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals.
·Indoor use only unless an IP rating is specified.
·Switch off the circuit before any electrical maintenance.
·Check mounting hardware periodically and tighten if needed.
