Alabaster Hallway Ceiling Light – Small Cylinder Flush Mount, 12 cm

Switch it on and a small drum of stone glows like a lantern above your door. This hallway ceiling light is a short cylinder of real alabaster, 12 cm across and 10 cm tall, under a brushed brass-finish canopy. A built-in 6W LED sits inside, so the whole stone glows warm while a soft pool of light falls from the open base.

It sits flush to the ceiling, so nothing hangs into your walkway. Small enough for a landing or a wardrobe. Warm enough to make a long passage feel like home.

Real alabaster, hollowed and polished by hand

Alabaster is stone formed beneath the earth over thousands of years. It is fine-grained and translucent. That is why light passes through it and shows every cloud and vein.

A craftsman in our Greater Noida factory cuts each cylinder from a single block. He hollows it, then polishes the stone by hand until it is smooth to the touch. Some pieces are almost pure white. Others carry soft honey or amber veins. No two are the same.

Unlit, it is a calm white drum with grey clouding. Lit, the stone turns a soft honey colour and the clouding comes forward.

Where a small alabaster ceiling light works best

• Hallways and landings. Space them about 1.5–2 m apart and the corridor lights evenly. A 6 m hallway usually takes three or four.
• Entrances and lobbies. A small glowing drum above the front door or the shoe cabinet makes coming home feel warm.
• Bathrooms and powder rooms. It is rated IP65, sealed against dust and water, so steam is no problem. It looks right above a vanity.
• Wardrobes, porches and balconies. Compact enough for tight spaces, sealed enough for a porch or balcony.

Light and fitting

The light comes from a built-in 6W LED in warm white 3000K, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It runs on 220–240V. It is not dimmable; it gives one steady, warm light.

The canopy is 304-grade stainless steel in a brushed brass finish. It will never rust, and we guarantee that for life, along with 1 year on the built-in LED, on orders from 4 October 2026 (see our legal policies).

It fixes straight to the ceiling and is hard-wired, so it needs no false ceiling. Any licensed electrician can wire it, and our team helps you free on a video call.
