Bamboo Hanging Light – 60 cm Woven Dome Pendant for Kitchen & Dining

Some evenings you want the table to feel close and warm. This bamboo hanging light does that the moment it comes on.

It is a 60 cm dome of real bamboo, woven by hand into an open weave. The dome is 37 cm tall. We leave it in its own honey-tan colour, with no dye and no coating. Switch it on and the light filters through in a warm, dappled pattern. It is softer than a glass shade and more alive than fabric.

Real bamboo, woven by hand

Bamboo is a grass that grows tall and strong in a few seasons. It sits in the same natural-fibre family as cane and rattan.

A craftsman in our Greater Noida factory splits it into thin strips. Then he weaves them, row by row, over the ribs of the dome. Each row is pulled tight by hand. No machine does this part, so no two domes are exactly the same.

Light is where the bamboo comes alive. The open weave lets light escape sideways and upward while it pools on the table below. Soft, dappled shadows fall across the ceiling and walls.

Where a 60 cm bamboo pendant works best

It was made for dining tables and kitchen islands. It also earns its place in living rooms, studios and covered verandahs that stay dry.

The 60 cm dome lights a four-seat table from one point. Hang it 75–90 cm above the table top. Over a counter or island, drop it a little lower, to 70–75 cm.

Light and fitting: what you get

Inside the dome is one E27 holder (it also takes E26). The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED of 6–9 W for everyday use; the maximum is 60 W. A 3000K LED filament bulb looks lovely through the weave on evenings with guests. LEDs stay cool, which is kind to natural fibre.

This light is not dimmable. It runs on 220–240 V and is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms.

The canopy and holder are 304-grade stainless steel with a brass finish. They will not rust, and they carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. That warranty covers the steel; the shade is natural bamboo. There are no plastic parts.

The dome hangs on 1.5 m of Teflon-coated copper wire, shortened to your ceiling at installation. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we help free on a video call.
