Overview
Switch it on and the wall behind your table fills with soft lines of amber light. This fluted pendant light is a slim column of ribbed amber borosilicate glass, 10 cm wide and 30 cm tall, capped with a brushed gold ball. Hang one over a small table, or three in a row over a long one.
Amber borosilicate glass, blown by hand
Borosilicate glass begins as natural raw ingredients: silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. They are melted together, and the amber colour is added while the glass is made.
The shade is hand-blown. Its ribs run from the rounded top down to a soft, scalloped rim. Small differences from one shade to the next are the mark of the hand that made it.
Then the light takes over. The flutes split the glow into fine vertical bands. The glass turns honey-gold, and the wall around it picks up warm stripes of light.
Where does a fluted pendant light work best?
Over a dining table, hang it 75–85 cm above the top. One suits a two- or four-seater. Three in a row light a long six-seater, just like the photos show. See more dining room pendant lights.
Over a kitchen counter or island, 70–75 cm puts the light on your hands without glare.
In the bedroom, hang one beside the bed in place of a table lamp. It also fits a living room reading nook, a hallway niche or a small pooja corner, where its gentle amber glow keeps the space calm.

Light and fitting
The ball, holder and canopy are 304-grade stainless steel with a brushed gold finish. Stainless steel does not rust, and we back that with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. It covers the steel itself, not the finish, glass or electrics.
The shade hangs on a 120 cm clear-sheathed cable from a 10 cm round canopy. Your electrician shortens it at installation. The maximum overall drop is 159 cm.
It takes one E27 bulb. The bulb is not included; fit a 3000K warm-white LED of 4–8W. It runs on 220–240V, it is not dimmable, and it is rated IP20 for indoor rooms.

Where does a fluted pendant light look best?
Over a dining table, a kitchen counter or beside the bed. Hang it 75–90 cm above a dining table or 70–80 cm above a counter. Clusters of two to five work well over a long table or island, and it also suits hallway niches and reading nooks.
What bulb does it take, and is a bulb included?
It takes one E27 bulb, and the bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED of 4–8W; that warm tone gives the richest glow through amber borosilicate glass.
Is this light dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
How long is the cable?
It hangs on a 120 cm cable, and your electrician shortens it at installation. The maximum overall drop is 159 cm. Set the shade within your sightline, without blocking eye contact across the table.
