Plant Pot Wall Light – Matte Black 2-in-1 Globe Sconce with Planter

Some walls ask for a light. Some ask for a plant. This plant pot wall light gives your wall both, from one point.

A 15 cm opal borosilicate glass globe glows at the top. A round planter cup waits below for your money plant or trailing pothos. One curved arm of 304-grade stainless steel, in matte black, holds them together. It stands 47 cm tall and 22 cm wide.

What is a plant pot wall light?

It is a wall light with a planter built into it. Light above, greenery below, on a single round backplate.

You need no shelf, no second bracket and no table lamp cable. The globe lights the plant from above, so the leaves look richer after dark than they do in daylight.

Borosilicate glass and stainless steel, shaped by hand

The globe is borosilicate glass, melted from silica sand, boric oxide, soda ash and alumina. White colour is added while the glass is made, which turns it opal.

The frame is one stainless steel rod. Our craftsman bends it into a long, smooth J-curve that carries the globe at one end and the cup at the other. Then he finishes the steel, the cup and the backplate in matte black.

Switch it on and the opal glass softens the bulb into an even, all-round glow. There is no hotspot and no visible filament. Switched off, it reads as a clean white sphere against matte black, which suits grey, white, concrete and warm-toned walls.

Where does a plant pot wall light work best?

• Balcony or covered entry. It is rated IP65, so it handles balcony and verandah walls where a standard indoor sconce would not last. For a fully open wall in heavy rain, add a little shelter above it.
• Living room feature wall. Beside a console, mirror or artwork, one fixture does the work of a lamp and a plant stand.
• Bedroom, beside the bed. Mount it at about 150 cm. The globe sits near reading height, and a small succulent or air plant fits the cup.
• Corridor, lobby or hotel passage. At 22 cm wide, it fits tight wall spacing and still makes a statement.

It pairs well with dark wood, terracotta and clay pots, concrete, raw plaster and green-heavy rooms. Mount two on either side of a door, mirror or console for a balanced look.

Light and fitting

The light takes a G9 bulb. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white G9 LED; 3–4 W gives a soft, even glow.

This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm light, so pick your bulb for the mood you want.

Every metal part, from the arm to the planter cup and backplate, is 304-grade stainless steel in matte black. It carries a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. That matters on a balcony in the monsoon.
