Overview
A turned bowl of teak wood with a glass globe at its heart. This wall light is a shallow dish of solid teak wood, turned on a lathe so fine concentric rings run from the rim to the centre. A round glass ball sits in the middle over a G9 bulb, and the light spreads across the ringed wood so the whole bowl glows warm. It is 27 cm across and stands 11 cm off the wall.
Where it fits
- Living rooms & reading corners — a warm, sculptural light beside an armchair or sofa.
- Hallways & entrances — a run of these along a wall, or a cluster at different heights.
- Bedrooms — either side of the bed for soft, low evening light.
- Natural, Japandi and warm-minimal interiors — plaster and limewash walls, linen, bouclé and stone.
Why you’ll love it
The turned rings catch the light and throw soft shadows, so the bowl looks like a piece of wall art even when it is switched off. Teak is a dense, long-lasting hardwood, and because it is natural wood, each bowl’s grain and tone are a little different. The glass ball hides the bulb, so the light is soft rather than glaring. It takes a standard G9 bulb, which is easy to find and replace.
Light & material
The bowl is solid teak wood, lathe-turned with concentric rings and finished in a soft, washed tone. At the centre a round glass ball covers a single G9 bulb. With a warm white G9 LED (2700–3000K) the inside of the bowl glows amber and the rings stand out — accent and ambient light rather than main room light.

Fit
Vastu
In Vaastu, wood is linked with growth, freshness and vitality, and teak in particular is valued as a strong, long-lived wood. The circle is seen as a complete, harmonious shape that lets energy flow smoothly, and soft, warm wall light is preferred for calm living and resting spaces. These are traditional associations, not guaranteed outcomes.

FAQ
What is it made of?
The bowl is solid teak wood, turned on a lathe, with a round glass ball at the centre that covers the bulb.
What bulb does it take?
One G9 bulb, not included. A warm white G9 LED (2700–3000K) brings out the amber of the wood.
How big is it?
It is 27 cm in diameter and sits 11 cm off the wall.
Will every piece look the same?
Not exactly. Teak is a natural wood, so the grain and tone vary slightly from bowl to bowl.
Can I hang several together?
Yes — a run along a hallway or a cluster of two or three at different heights both work well.
Can it go in a bathroom or outdoors?
No — it is for indoor dry locations only. Keep the wood away from moisture.
