A tulip bud carved from natural alabaster. This wall sconce holds a scalloped alabaster shade, shaped like a closed tulip, on a slim brass-finish stem and round backplate. Switched on, the light glows through the stone so its natural veining shows as soft cloud patterns. It is 31 cm tall and 13 cm wide — a small, sculptural piece for a bedside, hallway or living-room wall.
