Overview
Switch it on at night and a soft, warm pool of light falls down the wall beside your bed. Above it, two bands of green marble sit quietly, veins and all.
This green marble wall light is small: 16 cm wide and 14 cm tall. Two rounded bands of dark green veined marble stack between polished silver-finish 304-grade stainless steel cylinders, on a round backplate. Even switched off, the stone is the decoration.
Green marble, shaped by hand
Marble is stone formed beneath the earth. This one is dark green, with fine white veins running through it.
A craftsman looks at the stone before he shapes it. He rounds each band, polishes it smooth, and leaves the veins where nature put them. So no two pieces look the same.
Marble is dense, so light does not pass through it. The beam shines down from below the bands and grazes the wall. In daylight the stone shifts from deep forest green to grey-green. Stone, at its calmest.
Where a green marble light works best
- Beside the bed: At 16 cm wide, it sits neatly next to a headboard. Mount it about 120 cm from the floor for bedside reading.
- Along a hallway or corridor: Repeat two or three at 150–160 cm for a steady rhythm of light down the passage.
- Foyer or feature wall: One beside a mirror, artwork or console draws the eye to the stone. A row of them turns a plain wall into a feature.
- Living rooms and small spaces: Where a big sconce would crowd the wall, in an alcove, reading corner or studio flat, this one fits with room to spare.
The downward beam lets you read without the overhead light, so you don’t wake your partner. At night it lights the path from bed to door without glare. And it leaves your bedside table free.
Light and fitting
The cylinders, arm and round backplate are 304-grade stainless steel in a polished silver finish. They will not rust: lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026, as set out in our Legal Policies.
It takes one bulb, up to 40W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED for the warmest light on the stone. The light is not dimmable. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor walls only, and runs on 220–240 V.
It is hardwired to your wall switch circuit. Any licensed electrician fits it in 20–30 minutes, and we give free video-call support.

Vastu
Vastu tradition favours soft, warm light in the bedroom and well-lit passages. Vastu writers advise against harsh overhead light above the bed, glare and dark corners. Soft wall lights are one of the ways they suggest to spread light gently. Many also suggest more light along the north and east walls, and no main light source in the south-east.
This wall light fits that idea simply. Its warm 3000K beam falls down the wall, away from your eyes, so there is no glare from the pillow. In a hallway, a row of them leaves no dark patch. Natural stone is seen as grounding, and the rounded bands have no sharp edges.
A pair at equal height on either side of a bed or doorway gives the balance Vastu values. Vastu is a tradition of arranging a home so it feels right. We don’t promise luck. We make light that helps a room feel calm.
