Overview
A wooden bedside lamp that brings the warmth of real wood to the end of your day. The Sierra stands 50 cm tall on a solid turned-wood base, topped with a 32 cm cream linen drum shade. Wood grows its grain over years. We turn the base in our Greater Noida factory and leave that grain to show, so the tone runs from light oak to deep walnut and no two lamps match. Switch it on and the linen softens the bulb into a wide, warm pool of light. E27, bulb not included; fit a 3000K warm-white LED. Plug-in, with an inline cord switch you can reach from your pillow.
Where it fits
On a bedside table first, then a study desk, a living room console or a reading-nook shelf. The plain wood base and cream linen suit modern minimal, Scandinavian and warm bohemian rooms. For bolder sculptural accents, see the Ball Table Lamp with a wooden sphere base; for a matched pair either side of a bed, the Fabric Table Lamp with Linen Shade is a good companion. Why a turned wood table lamp works every night
No electrician needed. Plug it into any socket and use the inline switch. The solid wood base is weighted to sit firmly, yet it is easy to move around the house. The linen drum gives a wide, even pool of warm light that softens the wall beside it. Read before sleep, set a dinner mood, or just wind down. One tap on, one tap off.
Light & finish
Fit a 6–9W E27 warm-white LED at 3000K; the holder is rated up to 60W, but a 9W LED is plenty by the bed. The linen drum spreads the beam into a soft, wide pool with no hard edges. The base is turned from solid wood with a natural-grain finish, and the matte black socket housing recedes so the wood and the cream shade stay the focus. Indoor, IP20.

Vastu
In Vaastu thinking, wood belongs to the earth and growth, and light to the fire element. Many Vaastu guides suggest the south-east of a room for a lamp and recommend warm light over cool white in the bedroom. Real turned wood under a linen shade, lit at 3000K, sits naturally inside that idea. We don’t promise better sleep or luck. We say warm light and natural materials make a bedroom feel quieter.
Care
·Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
·Spot-clean with a pH-neutral cleaner on a cloth — never spray directly.
·Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals.
·Indoor use only unless an IP rating is specified.
·Switch off the circuit before any electrical maintenance.
·Check mounting hardware periodically and tighten if needed.
FAQ
Where does a wooden bedside lamp look best?
On a bedside table, where its 50 cm height and 32 cm linen shade give reading light without glare. It also suits a study desk, an entry console or a bookshelf corner.
What bulb does this lamp use?
A standard E27 screw base, up to 60W, bulb not included. A 6–9W warm-white LED at 3000K gives the best glow.
Is it the right height for a bedside table?
Yes. At 50 cm it sits at a good bedside height for reading without shining into your eyes, and the switch is on the cord within reach.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the wood base with a dry or very slightly damp microfibre cloth; avoid harsh chemicals. Brush the linen shade gently with a soft-bristle brush.
Can I get it in a different finish?
The Sierra ships in its natural wood grain. Custom finishes or shade colours take 15–20 working days from our own Greater Noida factory; message us with what you need.
Does it need installation?
No. It is a plug-in lamp, so there is no ceiling or wall wiring. Free video-call help is there if you want it.

We used it next to the sofa. The light feels comfortable and the finish looks clean.
