Overview
A ball table lamp with a grounded, natural feel. The Orbis sits on a 20 cm sphere of walnut-finish wood, rises on a slim stem of 304-grade stainless steel in a brass finish, and carries a tall white fabric cylinder shade. Wood takes years to grow its grain; in our Greater Noida factory the sphere is finished by hand until it sits smooth and round. Switch it on and the shade turns the bulb into a warm, even glow while the wood picks up a soft sheen. 68 cm tall. E27, bulb not included; fit a 3000K warm-white LED. An inline cord switch keeps it within arm’s reach.
Where it fits
On a bedside table, where you want layered, warm light instead of a harsh overhead bulb. It is just as much at home on a foyer console, a dining sideboard or a bookshelf corner. Why a sphere table lamp gets used every evening
It is a lamp you will reach for, not just one that looks good in a photo. The 3000K glow is gentle on the eyes when you read and calm enough to wind down. At 68 cm it throws light at a comfortable height: low enough to avoid your eyes, high enough to avoid long shadows. The E27 holder is the standard fitting across India, so a new bulb takes a minute. And the inline switch means you control it from your seat.
Light & finish
The E27 holder is rated up to 60W, but a 6–8W warm-white LED at 3000K is all you need for a lovely pool of bedside or accent light. The walnut-finish sphere is smooth and matte, so it never throws glare. The brass finish on the stainless steel stem adds a warm note between wood and shade, and it never rusts. Vastu
