Overview
The day ends at your bedside. This wooden bedside lamp makes that moment warm. The Sierra stands on a solid base of turned wood, under a cream linen drum shade. Switch it on and the linen turns the bulb into a soft, wide glow that reaches your pillow and your book, not your eyes.
A wooden bedside lamp turned from solid wood
Wood is one of the slowest materials on earth. A tree takes years to grow the grain you see in this base.
Our craftsman in Greater Noida reads that grain first. Then he turns the block on a lathe into a smooth, tapering form, full at the foot and narrow at the top. It is the old craft of woodturning, done one base at a time.
We sand it, finish it and leave the grain alone. So the tone runs from light oak to deep walnut, and no two lamps match. That is real wood, not a print on plastic.
What the light does with wood and linen
Linen is a fibre, woven from flax. Light passes through the weave and comes out soft and even, with no hard edges.
The glow falls on the turned wood below and the grain warms up. A little light spills up onto the wall too. In the evening the whole lamp reads as one calm shape.
Where this wooden bedside table lamp works
On a bedside table first. At 50 cm tall with a 32 cm shade, it gives reading light without glare and still leaves room for your phone and a glass of water.
It also suits a study desk, an entry console, a dresser or a bookshelf corner in the living room. The plain wood and cream linen sit well in Scandinavian, warm minimal and boho rooms. Buy two and set one on each side of the bed.
Light and fitting
This wooden bedside lamp takes a standard E27 bulb, rated up to 60W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 6–9W warm-white LED at 3000K; that is plenty by the bed.
This lamp is not dimmable. It gives a fixed, warm light. A plug-in cord with an inline switch means no electrician and no wiring. Plug it in, and the switch sits within reach of your pillow.
The base is weighted to sit firmly, yet it is easy to carry from room to room. The matte black socket housing sits low under the shade, so the wood and the linen stay the focus. It is made for indoor rooms (IP20) and runs on 220–240V.

FAQ
Is the wood real?
Yes. The base is solid wood, turned by hand in our Greater Noida factory, and the shade is real linen. Because it is real wood, the grain and tone change from lamp to lamp.
What bulb does this wooden bedside lamp use?
A standard E27 bulb, up to 60W; the bulb is not included. A 6–9W warm-white LED at 3000K gives the best glow by the bed.
Is it dimmable?
No. This light is not dimmable. It gives a fixed warm 3000K light.
Is it the right height for a bedside table?
Yes. At 50 cm tall it lights your book without shining into your eyes, and the switch is on the cord, within reach. It plugs into any socket, and free video-call help is there if you want it.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the wood with a dry or barely damp microfibre cloth, and skip harsh cleaners. Brush the linen shade gently with a soft brush.
