Overview
Some lamps light a room. This unique table lamp also gives it something to look at. Its wood base is folded into sharp, faceted planes, like a sheet of paper turned into origami. It stands 54 cm tall under a soft linen shade.
Look closer and the planes are not perfect. Each face carries a dark, hand-applied finish, with bronze-toned highlights catching the edges and a charcoal-green patina sitting in the folds. Switch it on and those edges warm up, one by one.
Wood, folded by hand into a unique table lamp
Wood is a material that already carries a story. It grew for years before it reached our bench in Greater Noida. Our craftsman shapes the base facet by facet, keeps every fold crisp, then works the finish in by hand.
He decides where the bronze tone stays bright and where the dark patina settles. That is why no two bases look exactly alike. The linen shade is woven from natural flax fibre. Light passes through the weave and softens into an even glow, so the base, not the bulb, takes your eye.
Where this geometric table lamp works best
On a bedside table, the shade sits close to shoulder height when you sit up in bed. That makes it a calm reading and winding-down light.
In a living room or lounge, put it on a side table or a console and let the folded base be the talking point. It also suits a study shelf or an entry console that needs one strong piece. Japandi, contemporary and mid-century rooms bring out the most in its clean, angular lines.

Light, fitting and care
The lamp takes one E27 bulb, up to 100W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED; a 6–9W LED is plenty. Cool daylight bulbs flatten the bronze tones, while warm light makes the facets glow.
The stem and bulb holder are 304-grade stainless steel in a dark finish, so they will not rust. They carry a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. A light grey braided cord with a white inline switch plugs into any standard socket. No electrician needed.
This lamp is not dimmable. It is IP20, made for indoor rooms, and runs on 220–240V. To clean it, wipe the wood base with a lightly damp microfibre cloth and dry it at once. Dust the linen shade with a dry cloth. Skip harsh cleaners.

Free 15-min designer consult →Vastu
Vastu tradition asks for soft, warm light in the bedroom, never harsh glare near the bed. A shaded lamp with a 3000K bulb fits that idea well, because the linen spreads light gently instead of pointing it at your eyes.
In a living room or study, Vastu links the south-east corner with fire, so it is a natural place for a lamp. Tradition also favours natural materials, and a wood base brings that earthy, grounded feel. Keep corners lit, not dark, and avoid flickering bulbs.
Vastu is a tradition of arranging a home so it feels right. We follow it as a way of thinking, not a promise.
