Overview
Some lamps disappear when you switch them off. This rustic table lamp does not. Its dark wooden base rises like a young tree trunk, with cut branches reaching out on every side, and a warm linen shade sits on top.
A rustic table lamp shaped like a cut branch
We call it Fir. The base is wood, shaped into a short trunk with stubs where the branches were cut back.
It is finished in a textured charcoal black, so the surface feels like bark, not polish. Even switched off, it sits on your table like a small sculpture.
The lamp stands 59 cm tall. The base alone is 35 cm. The tapered drum shade is 20 cm across the top and 30 cm at the bottom.
Wood, hands and warm light
Wood grows for years before it ever reaches a workbench. It belongs to the oldest family of materials we work with.
A craftsman in our factory reads the wood first. Then he shapes the trunk and each branch stub, and gives the surface its dark, textured finish.
Switch it on and the linen shade glows a soft gold. Light falls down onto the table and out into the room. The dark wood stays quiet below, catching the glow at its edges.
Where a rustic table lamp works best
Put it on a bedside table and read under a soft, low light. In a guest room, it makes the space feel lived in from the first night.
On a living room side table or a console, it adds warm light at sofa height. It sits well with earthy walls, cane or rattan furniture and stone floors.

Light, steel and fitting
The lamp takes one E27 bulb, up to 40W. The bulb is not included. Fit a 3000K warm-white LED for the glow you see in the photos.
The stem that carries the shade is 304-grade stainless steel in a black finish, with a bronze-toned lampholder. This steel does not rust. That is why it comes with a lifetime warranty against rusting on orders from 4 October 2026. The warranty covers the steel, not the wood, the shade or the wiring.
It turns on with an inline switch on a brown flex cable. It is not dimmable; it gives a fixed warm light. Rated IP20, it is made for indoor rooms. Need help setting it up? We offer free video-call support.

Vastu tradition asks for soft, warm light in a bedroom. Warm white, around 3000K, is preferred to cool light, and no lamp should glare into the eyes of someone lying in bed. A shaded lamp at the bedside does just that.
Vastu also favours natural materials. Wood is linked with growth and grounding, so a wooden base under a linen shade fits the idea well. The south-east is seen as the fire zone and a good home for a light; in the south and west, keep light soft and low. Avoid dark corners and flickering bulbs.
None of this is a promise of luck. Vastu is an old Indian tradition of arranging a home so it feels right.

·Switch off and unplug the lamp, and let it cool, before you clean it.

Is this rustic table lamp the right size for a bedside table?
Yes. At 59 cm tall with a 30 cm shade, it suits a standard bedside table, side table or console. The shade sits low enough to keep light out of your eyes in bed.
Which bulb does it take, and is it included?
